    Editorialize Too Often
I love this show, but it is very frustrating when the hosts will, at times, insert their own opinions and then attempt to frame them as a question in a effort to force a response from the guest. I’m all about hardball questions, but I would prefer it if there was less editorializing on the part of the hosts.

Best archive of 21st century MO Political History
If you want to know something about anything that happened between 2012 and today, which coincidentally was an extremely turbulent, politically fraught, and interesting period for our state…it’s almost certainly covered here.

    Lippman Mansplains Page's Failures
Tuned in to hear a thoughtful analysis of Krewson's tenure as Mayor, got an earful of Lippmann's anti-female leadership rant instead. Lippmann's refusal to hold Page accountable or give Krewson credit for saving LIVES and businesses with her balanced Covid approach was especially grating. Newsflash: 1,818 St Louis Countians LOST THEIR LIVES due to Page's mismanagement. 1,818 and counting, 182 per 100K versus 142 per 100K in city. Won't bother tuning in again.

    Take them to task!
I love this show. But can you please take some of these folks to task?? You could push for some real answers from people, for example your most recent interview with Lewis Reed. I don’t like as a listener having someone blab generalities or even worse, lie to me. Thank you!

    Must Listen
Jason and Jo are two top-rate journalists that contribute an immense amount of information to the political conversation and landscape in Missouri. This podcast is a great resource to an average Missouri to better understand our elected officials and the problems we face as a state. Keep up the great work!

    Excellent podcast plus one suggestion
This is easily the best Missouri politics podcast in the state, and one of the more informative podcasts I listen to in general. Jason and Jo do a great job with the interviews, and I appreciate the balanced, bipartisan perspective. My one suggestion is that the production team revised their choice of intro/exit music. The heavy drums/guitar is rough on the ears, whether in the car or through headphones. It would be great if the music matched the quality of the podcast itself.

    Stellar coverage
Politically Speaking offers premier coverage of all things Missouri politics. Jason, Jo, and Rachel provide in-depth, intimate conversations with elected officials across the Show-Me state. The interviews are balanced, fast-paced, and incredibly informative. I’m so grateful for this podcast, as well as all of the other impactful, insightful work of St. Louis Public Radio. Also, it should be noted that this podcast isn’t exclusively aimed at St. Louis area residents. Prominent state-wide officials are frequently featured, as well as relevant representatives in the MO general assembly from all four corners of the state. This truly is a must-listen for anyone interested in Missouri politics and public policy.
