There’s not too many working moms podcasts that I’ve found to be really helpful but this one is actually beneficial...the interviewer is authentic/ real and the guests she brings on are relevant enough for me to keep listening.

Quality Podcasting from Amazing Julie

I am one who doesn’t usually leave reviews. I met Julie a few months ago at the end of a long conference day. We both lamented that while to conference was great, we needed to get back to the duties of mothering. Next day, she’s on stage being announced as the “Working Mother’s Mentor.” I had a fab girl moment, since I had been listening to her podcast before we met. She is an awesome human being and her podcast is deeply rooted, inspirational, and filled with nuggets of wisdom. I highly recommend adding this one to your library.

I loved these podcasts because they were real women being authentic. I've done this work/motherhood balance long enough to know that it's HARD. I appreciate that the advice was balanced. Every day will not be perfect. Sometimes you will feel like you're failing. But so much of that feeling is my mental soundtrack. It was immensely helpful to hear from other women struggling with the same balance. They offered advice that I could incorporate into my life (and mental soundtrack ;-)

As a parent and a professional I found the “Working Mother’s Mentor Podcast” both helpful and reassuring. I have to admit, I’m actually not a mom… I’m a dad and proud partner of a woman with a professional career, and together we’re a team raising 4 amazing daughters. Julie does a great job of facilitating a discussion that extracts real tips and experience from successful mentor figures. Her first guest, Jenny Cohen, shared outstanding advice and funny stories that apply to moms (and dads) who work and are committed to successful professionally while also being awesome parents.
