Fantastic Source of Business Info, Hard to Get Otherwise
Since I've set my sights on being a BI Trusted Advisor/Business Analyst, I've been so wishing to get the kind of info about what's going on in the BI/Data Analytics world that AOF provides. I thought I'd have to get interviews myself with many BI leaders -- hard to do! -- to figure out's on the way in, what's on the way out, what I should focus on studying, what career possibilities are there, what works, what doesn't, what gotcha's should I watch out for, what are good data strategies and adoption strategies, how can I gather requirements more quickly & effectively..... But Mico has already done all that hard work, and since I discovered this podcast, I've been learning EXACTLY the kinds of things I've been so wanting to learn! AND with Mico's characteristic warmth and heart. She not only finds smart leaders with a lot to share, but down-to-earth, authentic people like she is. She's not only informing, but she's gathering an extraordinarily mutually supportive, generous, heartful community by force of her own big, warm personality. The podast is great, the guests are great, the info provided is current and super useful, and I'm super glad to have found it! (And it makes my long walks all the more interesting). Oh and I've also taken her BIDS Accelerator Workshop and it was awesome too, and super useful. I feel so much more confident going into my next BI Analyst job with Mico's proven tools and methods in my toolkit. It's great to be part of her community.

    Helped me change my career
I was unhappy in finance back in 2016. That’s when I listened to the original season and gained the confidence and mindset to leave my current position for a BI role elsewhere and become a leader. It’s tool-agnostic approach is perfect for any industry because tools are always changing but the way to think to solve problems does not. So glad that this is back!

One of the best data analytics podcasts here on iTunes
Mico and Ryan don't just talk about the theoretical side of data analytics, they show you real examples from their own businesses and those of guests, and show you how they turned around things with data. I particularly loved the episode with Naveen Narra. Great choice even if you're just venturing out into big data and analytics!

Finally a Podcast about Business Intelligence by real users!
I've looking for podcasts about business intelligence for years. Thankfully, one of the best on the BI industry, Mico Yuk, decided to put this podcast together. Great content, real BI practitioners, vendor neutral! What can you ask for! Besides, Ryan complements the team successfully with his years of BI experience. Simply, the best! Highly recommended.

    Great content from guests
The content presented by the guests of this podcast is excellent. I would give this podcast a Great rating if it weren't for the parts that Mico talks. She is smart and understands the subject, but... Her questions take 1000 words when a simple 10 word question would suffice. She has to tell us that she is going to aks a question before she aks her question. I think it was episode 3 or 4 where Ryan introduced the guest and Mico jumped in before the guest could speak and basically said Hey everyone I am here, listen to me first. I am not sure how much more of her I can take.
