If you’re a fan of High Intensity Training and work in the field HIB should be required listening. Lawrence is a fantastic interviewer and has a great variety of guests from leaders within the industry and outside of traditional HIT. Great actionable Business and health information
This is one of the podcasts where I don't miss an episode. Incredible value and insight here to up your business. The focus always has a high intensity strength training slant, but most of these tactics could be used for any business or entrepreneur. Lawrence has a very approachable and likeable demeanor. He brings great guests onto the program and asks excellent questions, always with a bend of curiosity. I with out a doubt have been able to turn the information from Lawrence and his guests into positive action in my business and self growth. One of my secret weapons, but too good not to share.

    Good man, great podcast.
I have known this guy since he was 18 years old and the butt of jokes for reading self-help books and obsessing over their content. Well he’s not the joke anymore, he took that passion, grew it, matured his tastes and his skepticism and now he shares that passion with you in this great podcast!

    Great training info
Excellent - interviews with experts in the strength training field - especially those involved in High Intensity Training. Lawrence asks great questions and then actually lets the guest talk.

Great podcast! Please interview Chris Highcock
Great job with the podcast. I particularly liked the recent two part roundtable with Drew, Ryan and Skyler. The one guest I'd like to hear on the podcast is Chris Highcock. As I get older (57) and deal with more wear and tear type injuries (i.e. partial rotator cuff tear, trochanteric bursitis, etc), I find myself coming back to the basic Hillfit program. I imagine that if I had just done Hillfit plus the McGill Big 3 over the years I'd probably be in just as good if not better shape with a lot less wear and tear.

Top notch information. Only one criticism—the intro is too long.

Great podcast -- especially if interested in HIT exercise
I found the podcast when I was searching for some of McGuff's interviews. Great variety of guests in the high intensity training world that Lawrence has on the show. I believe I saw where he is going to increase the number of shows in June -- looking forward to it as I have binge listened to all the ones he has. :) Keep up the good work and keep the shows coming -- I appreciate them!

    Excellent guests!
Lawrence produces a fabulous, content driven show and it's my weekly class lecture on fitness. This podcast has inspired me to open a HIT studio inside a health food store which draws in older folks who typically do not lift weights at all. Thank you Corporate Warrior!

    Great subjects, great questions
Lawrence always seems to know exactly which questions I would ask these people, whether it's about HIT or business.

A major key to great results!
The principles discussed in this podcast aren't simply just good to get your biceps a little bigger - it improves your life in every way. Being more efficient with your health means you feel better and operate at a higher capacity, AND you have more time, so that higher capacity can be applied to both your personal and professional life. I've used this type of stuff throughout medical school and plan to keep up with the Podcast and continue learning and improving during residency as well. Thanks!

Great High Intensity Strength Training Podcast
Lawrence, Great podcast! I have been doing high intensity strength training for about a year and a half now. I felt like progress had stalled out, and I came across your podcast about a month ago. You ask great questions of your guests, and listening has helped me to examine some of my protocols and modify them to get progress to start up again. In one of your interviews with Simon Shawcross, you mentioned that he pointed out to you that you can be improving form, improving turn arounds, or simply reaching failure more efficiently and you might still be improving even though your time under load or repeitions appear stalled. Upon thinking about that, I got my wife to video my most recent workout and found the feedback to be extremely valuable. Thanks again and keep up the great work!

    Incredible!
This podcast has been my #1 default podcast longer than all the other health and wellness ones I listen to. Lawrence has also gotten a lot more skilled at asking better questions and controlling the conversation as this podcast has evolved. As a HIT facility owner in the bay area, I need to stay in the loop on all things HIT and Lawrence impressively gets all the best minds in HIT and beyond to be on his podcast - all the people I reference and share with my clients on a regular basis. I hope he keeps a consistent schedule as I get really sad when too much time goes by between episodes. WHen that happens, I usually just relisten to an old episode as I always relearn something great. Keep up the great work man! - Owen, Live Oak Strength & Nutrition, Emeryville, CA

    a complete strength training education
Lawrence had put together the best podcast on the subject of high intensity strength training. His podcast combined with books like Body by Science, A Practical Guide to Strength Training, Project Kratos, and several others have helped me achieve a new level of strength with minimal time spent at the gym. This podcast is great for the layman as well as the advanced personal trainer! Learn how to optimize your workout as well as grow your own client base and personal training business.

    Great Learning
I’ve been in the HIT game for over 30 years and it’s about time someone started to interview the Best of HIT. The interviews are at a high level in regards to subject matter and the right questions are always asked. Looking forward to hearing many more in the future.

    Awesome
Great source of info about HIT—varied guests that offer some fantastic perspective on the subject of using the less is more approach towards whatever you’re up for. Lawrence seems to really do his research and engage with the guests in a way that both is fun to listen to and offers real insight into what they are doing and the cutting edge of HIT training.
