I listened to the Freaks and Geeks episode and was very frustrated with the number of mistaken facts, misquotes, and general lack of knowledge between all 3 people speaking. Couldn’t even finish…

I really like the roundtable reviews/discussions these three have for so many of the downright obscure movies out there, especially from the 80’s. They really come armed with insights and each host has a unique POV and history relating to the movie.

I’ve been listening for a few months, catching up on episodes and I have to say I enjoy this crew. They seem to really enjoy these films. My favorite episodes have been “From Dusk Till Dawn” and “Nightmare on elm Street 2” because I love those movies, mostly fdtd. They only flaw and why I’d give it 4 instead of 5 is I don’t like one of the segments. The where have I seen them segment seems like a waste of time for me, it doesn’t add much and a quick IMDB search of the film will show me where these actors have been. But overall I’d recommend it to film fans and I enjoy the show! Keep it up and thank you!

I’ve been listening to CFC from the beginning and it never fails to either introduce me to new movies or make me think about a movie I love in a new way. Great hosts and great content equal a great podcast.

I’ve consumed a lot of podcasts about film both mainstream and cult and I’m really glad I stumbled across this podcast. The hosts are incredibly informative and passionate about the movies they cover. It makes me excited to listen to them talk deeply about films, the process, the history, and the impact that these cult films have had. I’ve probably added a dozen films to my queue and I’ve only listened to three episodes. Thanks to Pax, Jaime, and Shawn.

I listen to a lot of movie podcasts and a number of them about 'cult classics'. These three truly love cult movies from the 80s, even some that can make you cringe from the awkwardness (the movie characters, not the hosts). The enjoyment they get from these movies shines through and the episodes fly by. They also know a thing or two about the movies and drop some of that info on you for good measure. Lots of laughs and fun. Always happy when new episodes show up.

These guys/ gal know what’s up. There’s no bs here, just a great show. If you care about substance, give this a listen.

I truly look forward to seeing the announcement for a new Cult Film Club Podcast. Shawn, Jaimie, and Paxton happen to pick pretty much all of my favorite films from when I was growing up and in some rare cases movies I might have missed. Just as easy to listen to as to find yourself laughing out loud at their humor. Do yourself a favor and add it your feed! :D

This is one of the rare gems on iTunes, a fun, entertaining, and educational podcast on film that’s not full of industry jargon. Nor is it being mean to some of the lesser films, but lovingly re-examens the fractured memories of late night cable movies that you weren’t sure you really saw what you saw. If you ever walked through a as a kid and looked and rented something due to how cool it looked on the VHS box, grew up on bad weird cult films on cable, or are known by your friend for having the weird taste in 80s films… This is your podcast. Also they have super cool segments where they re-cast a film, examine the soundtrack, and answer the question of “where do I know that guy from”. Give it a listen, it’s the BEST!

This show made me question my perception of reality, but in the best way possible. Listen to it. Your ears, could they speak, would thank you.
