GREAT CONTENT AND PANEL OF HOSTS
I’m a fan of Michael May and any podcast he appears on. He is the perfect choice to take on the new iteration of The “Nerd Lunch” podcast format. I love the subjects they cover and they have a bunch of fun series started (swashbuckler’s, MCU, Sherlock Holmes, etc….) So I usually laugh and learn a little each episode.

    Nerdy before nerdy was cool.
Old school nerd goodness. I find myself talking back to the podcast and joining the conversations every week.

    Great Nerd Fun
Experts in all things geeky. They definitely make my commute more enjoyable. I like their fresh spin on geek topics. The episodes are evergreen and I was able to go back and listen to the last 100 episodes or so along with the new ones that come out week.

Favorite Nerds to Metaphorically Lunch With
This is one of my favorite podcasts. They’re consistent. The conversations are the right amount of nerdy while still remaining accessible to those who might be less familiar with the topic. And sometimes it’s even downright hilarious.

    Always Entertaining
Fun weekly discussion on nerdy subjects from TV to movies to books to junk food. Each week is different but they are always entertaining & funny.

    Great podcast
Nerd Lunch is one of the most fun podcasts in my regular listens. Every week, CT, Jeeg, and/or Pax come up with a great topic and break it down. They’re very creative, and always bring in a cool 4th chair guest, usually with a specialty in the topic (fast food, Star Trek, porn, action figures, movies, etc.). Highly recommend this one.

    You know… This is good.
Nerd Lunch is a really refreshing cast. The hosts don’t take themselves too seriously, and they sound like they are actually having fun. Pop culture without pomposity… what a concept. Keep up the good work. It’s refreshing.

    Let's do lunch.
The Nerd Lunch podcast has gotten me though many tedious work shifts, and made gym days that much more bearable. For folks who spend time enjoying the nerdier aspects of popular culture, The Nerd Lunch Podcast is like meeting with a group of old (nerdy) friends for lunch.

    Amazing
I can't believe this podcat doesn't have more reviews. It has a great cast and guest. I love the topics they have and their takes on it. I aways wait until a new one comes out. Keep on doing what you do!

    Fun and Entertaining topics
Been listening to these nerds for about a year now and I have to say that there are very few episodes that I didn't enjoy. They're always fun to listen to, especially if you come from a similar state of nerdiness. Great stuff!

    Required Nerdy Listening!
Food. Water. Nerdery. These are all things we need in life. You can get food at a restaurant and water from the tap, but where do you get your weekly dose of all things nerdy? The Nerd Lunch Podcast, that’s where! CT, Jeeg, Pax, and a guest from the guys’ roster of pals get together every week to discuss stuff like ‘80s sitcoms, Star Trek, food, films, or any other type of nerdy shenanigans. So the next time you’ve got a full belly and a quenched thirst but your nerd tank is empty, turn to the Nerd Lunch Podcast. More nerdiness than you can shake a bat'leth at!

    Deliciously Geeky!
Love listening to the three guys and their constantly rotating 4th chair! Love the topics, love the banter, love the nostalgia and geeking out to the discussions I wish I was having with MY friends!

    All things Nerdy!
I'm a podcast listener during my commutes to and from work, and I visit family quite frequently, which are two hour trips, so I'm always listening to something. Nerd Lunch has moved to the top of my listening queue because of their wide range of topics, great hosts, and the rotating fourth chair. Nerdom is a large gamut of geekery, consisting of cult movies, to comics, to Star Wars, to toy collecting, to role paying. And not everyone has the same interests, which is why this show works so well. The hosts all have a unique array of interests, plus a fourth chair wild card. The topics are always fun to listen to, even if something isn't quite up my alley. Usually if it's not my thing, it might not be someone's thing on the show as well who can bring my similar perspective to the discussion. Better yet is when they introduce something new for me to seek out. Really great show guys! Your faithful follower from the Pacific Northwest.

    Too funny and too cool!
This is a great podcast. Their topics are right in my wheelhouse. There aren't many people that I can discuss these pop culture, nerdy subjects with, so its great to listen to these guys give their opinions on everything from the A-team to Buckaroo Banzai to your favorite cartoon crushes. I love it!

    Food For Thought
I came across this podcast through The Retroist. He guested in the 4th chair, and I liked this podcast immediately. I've been listening since then, and I have to say that CT, Pax and Jeeg bring the fun on a consistent basis. There's no hit and miss here. Pretty much all the podcasts I've listened to so far have been good, if not great. I can usually tell how much I like a podcast based on how badly I want to call up and join in the conversation; I go out of my mind wanting to "call in" while listening to these guys. HUZZAH!
  • Deadocmike
    Still really good.
Been listening for a long time. Most podcasts are one trick ponies: one subject or area of interest. This podcast covers the gamut of nerd culture, from superheroes, sci-fi, fast food, and other random nerdery. Keep it up guys

    Great Podcast!
I look forward to this show every week. Full disclosure: I am a fellow "geek culture" podcaster, so when I first checked out your show I REALLY didn't want to like it (you know, the obligatory feeling of "I hope they don't do what we do better than we do it" thing). However, I must say I really love this show. I'm at the point where I donwload and listen the day a new episode comes out. I feel myself wanting to jump into the conversation at multiple points during each show, and to garner that type of listener participation is a great credit to you guys. I find myself consistently tweeting responses or opinions to one or all of you during each show. I was initially turned on to your show when someone mentioned the "Pop Culture Eraser" episode to me, and I've been hooked ever since. My new life goal is to one day inhabit the fourth chair and get to answer and leave the fourth chair question. Keep up the great work guys! Howie Decker @HowardtheDeck

Great Show for Nerds (and Geeks)
Nerd Lunch is one of my favorite geek podcasts. The topics are great as are the discussions. I highly recommend the latest episode about the first three Muppet movies. Check it out!

The Most Important Meal For Your Brain
I started listening to the Atomic Geeks and decided to give their sister podcast a listen. Man am I glad I did. This show is basically like recording some of the geekiest conversations you have had with your friends and putting it out there for the world. Though it is always light-hearted, the show isn't afraid to go deep into a topic whether it be sodas, Star Trek or comic books, these guys get to the bottom of it! Click subscribe and thank me later.

All You Can Eat NERD LUNCH!!
The Nerd Lunch crew are not like the pseudo-geeks on Big Bang Theory - they are the real deal. Every detail from The A-Team to Star Trek is fleshed out. But perhaps the strongest aspect of the show is that whether you're listening in the car or at the gym - it makes you feel like you're hanging getting into geeky conversations with your friends and ultimately that familiar feeling is what I look for in a podcast. These guys are on the front lines of geekdom. They have families of their own and they still manage to blog and record consistently entertaining podcasts. And as for the comments that there's too many instances where the crew agrees with each other - the fact of the matter is - is that these are like minded people we are listening to. They are bound to agree often. This is precisely why I hang out with my friends, not to constantly get into fights about things but mostly because we like to discuss and enjoy the same types of stuff together. These guys aren't doing "too much planning" either as was also mentioned. I HATE listening to podcasts where the hosts sound unprofessional and unprepared. Nerd Lunch is NOT by any means amateur hour. I had an extensive run in radio and there's nothing I hate more than listening to goofballs who think they are stars because they now have a podcast on iTunes. If I didn't enjoy the show myself I wouldn't 1) download it 2) agree to guest star on it 3) or go through the effort of writing a review. Just the idea that they PRE-PLAN their show just gives you a clue into the quality of the program. Give NERD LUNCH a download and you'll enjoy it. There's bound to be something for you whether it's superhero or sci-fi talk, you'll dig it.

Nerds or Geeks? I'll take both!
I picked up on the Nerd Lunch Podcast through the Atomic Geeks and have been listening since the first episode. While the two podcasts have a similar format, they both offer different perspectives. The Nerds do more Pop Culture type topics, which I really like. The Drill Down episodes are quite fun and I espeically enjoy the nods to food and the 80's. Keep up the good work guys!

    A Little Too Nerdy
My quest for a good geeky podcast led me to Nerd Lunch. It does much better than most shows with "Geek" or "Nerd" in the title. These Nerds reliably publish on a regular basis. They stay on topic and are prepared for the show ahead of time. The preparation may actually be part of the problem. Too often they read directly off their pre-show notes, sounding like middle-schoolers comparing answers on last night's homework... "that's what I put too." Also the near unanimity of their opinions pretty much precludes the discussion getting heated, or even interesting. The Nerds really know their subject matter and what they want to talk about. But my biggest problem with the show is exactly that, what they want to talk about. Rarely do they make a case that it is insightful, important or even relevant. I decided to end my subscription after listening to an hour-long discussion of things that DIDN'T happen in Star Trek and how they may have impacted that fictional future. With a world of new and emerging Nerd and Geek culture, and a wider universe of things to learn - I have to select Podcasts that make me think, or teach me something I didn't already know. Nostalgic navel-gazing about He-Man toys from 20 years ago is not enough to keep me entertained. I think the podcast is well done. The hosts make a real effort to do a great job. It's just not for me.

    Twelve Great Podcasts (so far)
This is a great podcast with three regulars and a varied guest. All of the topics are exactly what nerds sit around talking about with their friends, so it's great to hear some varied nerdy opinions. While as of writing this review, there are only twelve episodes out -- some of the great ones that deserve a second listen are two "drill down" episodes (eps 2 & 6) which deal with Back to the Future & the 1st two ST: TNG movies. Another hightlight episode was one covering all things Masters of the Universe. Ultimately, I've enjoyed each episode I've listened to. If you grew up loving all things nerdy, you should definitely check out this podcast!

    Klingon Friendly....
The kinder, sweeter cousin of The Atomic Geeks. If you love that show, you'll love this show and best of all....it's Klingon friendly.
