As someone who loves toys and grew up with these properties I’m excited to catch up on the news from the excited and opinionated fans who host the show, but too often I end up shutting it off due to bro-y, misogynistic, “no homo,” banter. Just a heads up that this might not be the most welcoming space.

Just started listening and I’m really enjoying the conversations and topics discussed. Look forward to more content. Definitely recommend for collectors interested in the toy lines being talked about

This is a great toy podcast to listen to. I'm really enjoying the new format. The hosts are very knowledgable about the major 80's franchises, gi joe, Star Wars, he man & transformers.

The husband and wife hosts of the show are great, they work off each other well. You can tell its not rehearsed, it real. They are a real couple that enjoy the collecting hobby and adult drinks. A must listen to each time a new episode comes out.

Silck and Mrs. McFavorite run a podcast that I'm content to wait 2 months between new episodes for. Their show was the first toy-only podcast I ever started listening to and I quickly became a massive fan, before they ever adopted me into the "family" I simply LOVE Open Your Toys. Thanks for the many many many hours of geeky enjoyment.

The hosts obviously love the hobby, but the language and constant reference to alcohol are a little off putting for me. If that doesn't bother you, then give them a try.

Slick and Mrs Mcfavorite put out a great show. They gather the best tidbits and present them in a fun, loose style. News covers toys, conventions, movies, whatever is going on. Try it out if you are even a casual fan of toy-centric pop culture.

I like the more eclectic focus. Most toy podcasts focus on singular licenses, but this show gives a broader perspective.

I'm down with any cast that brings back the nostalgia I felt as a kid. Slick and his better half keep you entertained and informed. They both have great voices, and I love it when they talk about the stuff from my childhood, it makes me feel kinda funny, like when we used to climb the ropes in gym class.

i found this podcast last week while searching for more transformers related podcasts, and am now hooked. this husband and wife team is full of personallity, humour and great chemistry. if anyone is into transformers, g.i. joe, star wars, or masters of the universe, then i highly recommend this podcast.

Excellent podcast that the Husband and Wife team do the work on so that Open Your Toys Cast can be the one stop for all your action figure news. Full of the latest news on the 4 greatest toy lines of all time, they even review what stores have the sales. It is even a economical toycast in these challenging financial times. President Obama should be proud. Plus the podcast has some decent length to it. What more could you ask for?

Found this podcast a few weeks ago and I’ve liked each episode better than the last. Slick and Mrs. McFavorite are funny and insightful without any of the pretentious attitude you sometimes get with other casts of this nature. The husband and wife combo that host this show are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about toys in general, especially all the commercialized properties from the 80's. I look forward to this as much as I do my assorted Transformers podcast every week. Give it a listen and you will probably subscribe.
