I love the show Michael, I respect how you use your networking skills. Maria Cardona said we couldn’t trust Trump. Truth is, we can’t trust politicians generally. Consider Sheldon Whitehouse, who couldn’t be trusted to show up to work to cast his vote. He was at an Ocean Conference (doesn’t he have Congressional aides, why can’t he send one of them? He might be working for his wife (he might say with). His wife is literally “Ocean Wonk LLC.” The 1929 Reapportionment Act slowly created a modern nobility class. One side funnels money to themselves by saying nicer things than the other side who funnels money to themselves in our faces. We gotta shake this whole thing up by expanding Congress, and potentially creating regional middleman institutions to check certain federal legislative and executive action. The circuit courts could be reorganized and renamed as Regional Superior Courts or something. Freedom is choice, and we can’t trust politicians to show up to work in this system. Congress is far too small to aptly delegate the day to day (let alone strategic) needs of our Nation. We aren’t developing from coast to coast like we could with a system that lets us actually work together. We need structural change. You are a great example of a person I think would thrive in an expanded Congress, thanks for staying strong yet remaining adaptive enough to comeback with multiple perspectives. Critical thinking is when we are all at our best, you lead with quality actionable example. Thank you to your team, they are true professionals who would probably also thrive in an expanded Congress.

Here’s a clearer and more impactful version of your message: I used to look forward to Mondays and Fridays just to listen to Michael. It was my favorite podcast, and I couldn’t wait for each new episode. But now, it’s obvious how afraid he is, because constantly tailoring his show to appease an audience of one. I understand that he fears Trump’s retaliation, but there’s nothing more disappointing than watching someone you once admired shrink into weakness. Sorry, Michael, but you’ve gone from being my hero to my disappointment. You keep trying to justify his appointees and the chaos he creates, as if somehow it might all work out. You present it as if both sides, the left and the right, have equally valid points. But maybe it’s time to look in the mirror and ask yourself: I guess people never changed as you still the man you once were, who spent the last 15 years bending to Trump’s will! Sad to see this and I still wish you and your family all the best but done with this show!

Months ago, Mr. Cohen, you insisted that Trump would never run for president. He did. On recent podcast Norm Eisen insisted that Biden would never quit presidential race. He did. Beginning to believe that you and your guests base your analysis and predictions on “wishful thinking” rather than objective analysis.
