LOVE this pod and am a member of the gross room but…I am from CA and the laws are despicable for sex offenders. I have been a victim and he was let out in a month. Years later, I have since moved away from CA because of it. Not a big fan of that therapist they had on for the episode. She was great for commentary on Papini and such, since Papini is from my previous area but the sex offender portion really made me sick. CA is the last place to be “ok” with the laws regarding that.

Nicole Angemi’s online curations are fantastic and interesting. Gross Room bangs. I listen to this podcast for Maria Q. Kane’s insight anymore. Unfortunately, I find Nicole to be very judgmental with black/white opinions…”nope, I don’t care”. It comes off as condescending to Maria’s turns. It’s giving Pennsauken, genX-douchey. It’s never too late to evolve. Maria sounds speaks articulately and appears to be well rounded. Hope she spins off her own podcast.

I do enjoy this podcast but it’s like a guilty pleasure for sure! I like the mother/daughter banter and always side with Maria even thought I’m closer in age to Nicole. Nicole is an old woman stuck in her own thought patterns and it’s a reminder to stay open minded and informed the older you get and you won’t end up like her. Although, I still value her knowledge and humor - it’s fun!

I’m enjoying this podcast a lot and happy someone has finally started talking about the uncomfortable things in life. I must say though, I do wish they would find out more details about stories and perhaps fact check certain details. Like for example, finding out Marylin Monroe’s age when she died would be an easy look up. So I do wish just a little more digging and correct info was involved. It’s not a huge deal and I know lots of stories don’t have a ton of detail, so I don’t want to be too judgy about it. I know these ladies work very hard to make this show happen so I’m still giving it five stars! Thank you ladies!

I tried this podcast but after a couple episodes couldn’t overlook the random medical disinformation that was said… like saying gluten is inflammatory? No it’s not a problem unless you have celiac or a gluten sensitivity. Just like peanuts aren’t a problem unless you’re allergic. Saying all food in the US is “basically poison”. 🙄 Just the same old same old non factual rhetoric that is being spread like wildfire by people who have no expertise in these fields.

I used to LOVE this podcast and would get so excited when new episodes dropped but it has become so hard to listen to. Nicole is so condescending, she believes she is never wrong, she acts like she knows everything about everything. The way she treats Maria is so uncomfortable. I’m giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because I love Maria! Waiting for her to have her very own podcast!!

I’ve listened for a long time now and given it quite a chance but it’s becoming insufferable. Nicole is extremely condescending of Maria especially when Maria has a view or opinion different than Nicole’s. Nicole can’t stand that someone else thinks differently and is very judgmental of people. The constant fighting between the two takes way from the show and makes it extremely awkward to listen too. Maria just takes it probably because it’s her mom but come on. Stories are interesting but those downsides take away to much from it. Maria also acts like she knows so much medically buts so obvious she googles most of not all the different diseases or issues before she talks about them. Rarely speaks from experience.

It makes me happy when a new episode pops up. You two are so fun to listen to! Love the little snarky comments 🤗

I’ve been following Nicole since her early Instagram days. I adore her content and I’m so glad that this podcast exists. I love Maria too and enjoy listening to this mother and daughter duo banter about life and death. Super interesting and educational.

Can we abandon the 3+ minute mid roll ads and just run 5 minutes worth of ads in the beginning and end to reach the 10 minutes worth of ads in the podcast or would that be too much?

People, stop what you’re doing and listen to this podcast from the get go. You won’t regret it! It’s been my fav from the start and I’m always waiting for the next episodes. Full of info, topics we all weirdly want to hear about, and I adore the mother/daughter dynamic banter. Yall are the best and thanks for putting some great content of info out there as well as brining some laughs and smiles to my life!

I’ve followed Nicole on socials for years, and I am a yearly member of the gross room so seeing this podcast available publicly was so exciting! As someone that’s following the same career path as she has taken, I haven’t missed one episode yet, and I always look forward to MKD day! Nicole and Maria are brilliant, together and in this field, the guests are fantastic and the mayhem that ensues is always the highlight of the week! 10/10 recommend!

Nicole and Maria are so fun to listen to! They comment on news stories bluntly and hilariously, and I relate to a lot of their opinions. I love Nicole's medical opinions and views on a lot of things and Maria is a great transition to laymen's terms (for people like me). The interviews with specialists are also really great and I love the deep dive into those worlds. If you aren't listening to this mother-daughter duo, you should reconsider your priorities.

This podcast is literally my favorite of all time and I am always looking forward to the new episodes. I started this podcast last summer on my solo 1000 mile road trip home to visit my dad. While my kiddo was sleeping in the car I listened for 12 hours straight. I’m absolutely hooked. Nicole and Maria are so funny and seem so down to earth. As a Nurse, listening to this content is 100% relatable and interesting to me. Finally a podcast that isn’t boring! 💗💀

Nicole and Maria talk about topics that can be tough- but they do it in an informative way that is understandable and listening to them talk back and forth about a topic is enjoyable.

As an LPN, this is the one podcast I look forward to listening to. I love weird and unusual stories. Absolutely love listening to these ladies! I relate in so many ways! I highly recommend this podcast!

This is by far my most favorite podcast! I’m a home health RN and I work 12 hour nights. After I tuck my patients safely in to bed, I get busy at my work and you two go along with me every time! Sometimes it’s a long night, but listening to Mother Knows Death makes it enjoyable! The humor, the banter, the content, as well as information and education is so wonderful!! Keep up the awesome work and thank you for getting through some long nights!!

This podcast could be really great. Unfortunately, the amount of vulgar words constantly used distracts from the content. I don’t mind a few f-bombs thrown in to make a point but good grief, the cursing is constant.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this podcast! I have learned so much, and it’s amazing how Nicole and Maria balance each other. The content is unlike anything I've found. I really like that it is presented in a way that, although not normal conversation (unless you're talking to me 😂), is presented normally and in layman's terms. LOVE IT! Roseann

When these ladies actually have something interesting to talk about, it’s actually really good. The bickering is annoying! They are also very opinionated.

As a medical professional myself, and also as someone who loves true crime and the blood and guts of it all, I find the podcast to be very interesting. However, in my opinion, I find Nicole to be very judgmental of people‘s lifestyles or other people in general it teams And her harsh comments takes away from my enjoyment of the show. Not sure if I’ll continue to listen, but I started from the beginning and I’m hoping that the banter gets better as the show goes on.

The perfect mix of morbidity, pop-culture, current events with mouthwatering descriptions of Italian desserts sprinkled in. Never disappoints.

This show is 💯a must listen with every single episode! Nicole’s knowledge of the medical / science combined with Maria’s pop culure takes and humor not only makes this show informative but very enjoyable to listen to. The only place I’ll go for news now!!! Love you ladies keep it up 💙💙

This mother daughter is the cutest and I really do like their topics every week and the way that they have their show laid out is very entertaining and makes a good commute to work in the mornings.
