hannibal87Ads are horribly placedI love this show, but the ads literally interrupting sentences is too much and I’m about to unsubscribe because of it. There’s got to be a way for them to mark where the dynamic ads are inserted, so it’s more natural.

Newmomlovestocook2017These ladies ROCK!Laci and Lola bring true crime with care and compassion. Going up religious and working through my own deconstruction I also really enjoy hearing their personal stories. Not to mention the chicks, bunnies, and the rest of the gang!

DrEvil75Excellent ShowI’m not religious at all but I followed Laci on TikTok and was excited for the podcast. Boy howdy some of these episodes are doozies, folks really are crazy as heck. They give enough info and background to make even the uninitiated like me understand and interested. Keep up the amazing work ladies!

ErnieBrooks1984Love Laci and Lola.I heard about this Podcast when I Google searched a specific story. I saw the podcast art with the words “Deadly Faith”. As a person obsessed and fascinated with cults and religious crimes I decided to listen on a whim. I immediately didn’t know how I felt but noticed about halfway deep I was listening intently and laughing super hard at Laci and Lola’s quick wit and super sharp punny sense of humor. As a person that appreciates female-lead podcasts, I was able to find quick contrasts to others of the like. Laci and Lola remind me a LOT of Karen and Georgia from “My Favorite Murder”, but almost like a younger version. That isn’t a dig at any of these women I mentioned. They’re all equally amazing and funny. I like the combination of girl power, true crime and comedy. I’ve added this to my favorites and I’m eager to do a deep-dive starting at episode one as I work overnight shifts and have lots of opportunities to listen. Thanks, ladies! Keep up the amazing work!

goeskaboomInteresting subject matter, wildly disrespectful hostsSeriously, you’re talking about people’s violent deaths, and often religious extremism. Can you at least TRY to take the subject matter seriously? I can’t imagine being someone who loved one of the victims involved and listening to these hosts gigglesnort their way through their recounting of how my friend or relative died. The cases are very interesting and I appreciate learning about the religion angle, but the delivery is extremely off putting.

J00l33bugLove thisI haven’t seen Ed Gein’s story from this point of view and it makes perfect sense. I have some Ed Gein adjacent stories but since I’m not on any social media and there’s no contact information I haven’t been able to share them here or anywhere else. Contact information like an email address would be helpful.

Dacey MLoudly uninformedIt’s a cool idea for a podcast, and I somewhat liked it. But I just keep thinking how loudly uninformed they are. The Anthony Todt episode - they are so insistent that no one could ever overdose on Benadryl. Which is very, very wrong. The same episode, they blatantly do not understand the Christian Apocalypse. Do they do any research on their own topics?

ELongmteLove it!Love their POV, their rapport, it’s all great!
-
Cove RebelGreat start!I enjoyed the pod. Not my normal subject matter but really enjoyed the conversational manner and honest reactions. Looking forward to more. Your #0 intro pod was also a good hook. I have lots in common with both of y’all.

Religion+Crime=666?Love the theme! These two have found a great niche in a very competitive genre. I love that this includes the hypocrisy of religious people getting caught behaving horribly. They have a style that is fun and easy to listen. The stories flow well and are thoughtful. They tell them in a way that feels like two friends sharing stories over coffee, ice tea, or an adult drink.

Christine_In_NMSuper!Amazing, down to earth conversation. Feels like I am sitting at a friends table. Keep up the good work!!

bookscdsdvdsandcoolstuffNeededIn a time when illiberal religious forces seem intent on persecuting us and ending our liberty, this is an essential part of the antidote. Religion causes GREAT harm, but no one wants to talk about it. These crimes are just one aspect of the harm religion can do, but for fans of true crime, and rationality, what could be better than this?

ReviewerofpodSounds very promisinga fascinating subject and the hosts seem like they have a good rapport with each other..seems like it has a lot of potential.
