MorganMaresVTLayers of nostalgia and memoriesCame to this podcast after becoming a huge fan of Bryan’s via his appearances on Recipe Club. He’s incredible as a stand-alone host: funny, charming, insightful. But most of all, he has a gift for getting his guests to tell their own stories in their own voice, not shying away from celebrating the best of their memories and talking through moments in their lives that were challenging. Love every episode, and have cooked a few recipes. Hope the show continues!

BomburbeeExpect greatnessLike the title of Bryan's podcast foretells, expect layers. One layer of humor, another layer of baking, a third layer of heart, a fourth of humanity, and so on. So many layers and, like the perfect biscuit, they all piggyback on each other to create something memorable, soul-enriching and more than the sum of their parts. I loved the first episode, and cannot wait for more. I've been a fan of Bryan's through his book and social media and that drew me in, but I hope everybody listens to this because we all need it.

Alcheh11So Unique! What an incredible way to mix food love and deep conversation. The nostalgic meal, Proust effect idea is truly genius! Bryan is a phenomenal, gracious, and fun host and I cannot wait to see where the show goes!
