I like this podcast. Sometimes the stories can go a little too far inappropriately but when that happens I just turn it off. I do wish there were more stories and less just chatting. But I really really like this podcast and i’m awaiting the day something super funny happens at my YG so i can send it in! Also i see the reviews saying it isnt for kids but i’m 13 and i love it…

As someone who grew up in church, was homeschooled, and have been in ministry for most of my adult life, it is sooooo good. THIS PODCAST IS NOT FOR KIDS. It’s for adults and it’s HILARIOUS.

Hilarious. Entertaining and overall just an amazing vibe. Been binge listening to episodes during my work shift and I absolutely love it.

I love this podcast! I am thinking about becoming a youth pastor and I’ll be honest this pod scares me a little bit, but it’s too good to stop listening to!

While the stories are entertaining, the constant put downs and stereotypes of homeschool kids is way off base. It’s insulting, rude, and clearly not Christlike. I suggest getting know some well educated and mature teens from the homeschool crowd. I think you will be surprised.

Anyone that’s done youth ministry knows that it’s not for the faint of heart. And knowing you aren’t the only one with some insane stories, is nice.

More stories per episode, please!

First of all. I need you guys to collaborate with ninjas are butterflies. Second, This is one of the funniest podcasts I’ve ever heard. I’ve listened to all of your podcasts at lest 5 times each. I pray nothing but the best for you all.

The idea and the content are amazing, but Sam… THREE MINUTES of ads to start the episode??? NO. Don’t do that!

I can’t stop laughing from every episode Isaiah is my favorite guest he makes me laugh every time he makes a weird comment in the middle of the story and also all those Karen’s who say this is not a podcast for kids I agree but There are amazing story’s and Sam is the best storyteller keep up the good work you all are amazing!

I normally enjoyed this podcast until they laughing and making jokes about people with disabilities. The story about the girl with down syndrome should have never been shared or spoken on this podcast. Disgusting behavior.

I absolutely love y’all’s podcast! I do have a recommendation tho. Y’all should make another podcast that is all of the more appropriate stories and put it out there so younger people can listen to it without being worried about hearing inappropriate content. Overall I love your podcast and I hope you don’t stop

My wife and I both love listening to this show before we go to bed together, it always ends with us laughing hysterically. Great memories! As we both have worked in collegiate and youth ministry, this podcast has been part therapy, part cautionary tale, and altogether great. So grateful for Sam, his creativity, and his obedience. We appreciate all the hard work behind closed doors and appreciate the team. We miss Micah! Guest appearance with Isaiah is needed soon.

This is hilarious! Sam is funny! Most guests are really funny, except Mason is obnoxious & not funny. This show keeps me laughing!

Absolutely hilarious, no show like it out there. I never miss an episode. I am watchful of the content I consume and this show is one of my main sources of entertainment.

This was a promising show when it came out. But now there is three minutes of commercials before the show even starts. And for being a Christian podcast the guest hosts like to take the Lord‘s name in vain.

I am so grateful for this podcast, for quite a unique reason. I have dealt with some postpartum anxiety with both of my children. I have listened to YGC regularly after both babies and y’all have kept me laughing through the toughest moments. Thank you and God bless!

The BEST PODCAST for people who have gone to youth camps and other youth events etc. Even if you haven’t you could still listen too this and have a nice…. Or crazy time

This podcast has hilarious stories from various pastors, your leaders, and previous students. From someone that was in ministry, some of the advice and lessons are gold! (Ditch lock ins, hold the mic at testimonies ect) but while this says Youth Ministry Chronicles, there are quite a bit of stories and jokes that are not Youth Group appropriate, plus it gives teens listening ideas for stupid decisions (they already have enough of those). I think they should preface this as an adult podcast for those in ministry-I think it is hilarious and encouraging for those in ministry to know there are others that biff it too, not for kids to listen too. It also makes me wonder as they do live events for youth groups and conferences, how much they vet their stories then as well.

This podcast keeps me laughing and laughing during my 8-5 farming job. Keep up the good work!

Love these crazy stories, the amount of times I have to hold back my laugh is insane.

This show brings back so many memories from growing up in a youth group in the 90’s.

Don’t listen to the haters, if they feel it inappropriate they clearly have never served in the trenches of youth ministry! Coming from 14 years of ministry I can relate to many of the stories! My 12 year old daughter loved this show on our long road trip and we laughed and it gave me the time to share my stories of youth ministry too! Keep it coming!

Love this podcast, I think any teacher, anyone working with kids , camps, parents , aunties, uncles , or even with the general public would get a kick out of these stories even if they don’t go to church. The stories are a mixture of bizarre, quirky, scandalous , embarrassing, hilarious . The fact that many of these stories just happen to be church related of various sorts makes it more funny. 😂 Less conservative people would definitely be horrified at some of these stories, but the real conservative folk would die of shame because of the boundaries crossed. Lol It’s clean as in no cussing but some of the stories might not 100% be suitable for little ears, more than likely it’ll go over their heads because they probably won’t fully understand the situation. My children are 13,10, and 9 and love this show . We look forward to new episodes weekly.

W podcast but I often find myself turning off the mail bag segment just bc I want to hear more stories also I requested Micah costa and Isaiah Smallwood $1 on cash app and they denied it😢

Sadly they started out hilarious with light hearted and sometimes extremely weird stories. But they do throw in some very sexual stories and it just feels so unnecessary. Definitely not a podcast for kids.

Love the show when they can actually talk and laugh at the stories. There is so much discussing things that have been mentioned a lot in the past and now there is whole mailbag segment that completely takes away from the whole premise of the show which are the funny stories. Please just stick to the funny stories and reactions of the hosts

Good to see laughter in the Christian community and hear all the stories that just show what a youth group is all about and the laughter and enjoyment and even the mishaps that happen when you’re involved in a youth group. Keep doing what y’all are doing and can’t wait to see how far this takes you.

I found YGC on TikTok. After watching a few short clips I decided to give the podcast a listen on Spotify. Over the course of about 3 weeks I binged all 101 episodes plus the bonus episodes. This is an extremely funny and entertaining show. I am still waiting for the Squirt Squad t-shirt to be released to start buying YGC merch though😂.

Honestly, ministry is sometimes so challenging. As a youth pastor there’s some days I’m so burnt out. When those days pop up, this is truly my most favorite podcast to turn on. Wholesome, hilarious, and just all around good content. I love laughing alongside the hosts and hearing stories of others in the trenches alongside me. I recommend this podcast to everyone I talk to!! Thank you to Sam and the team for all you do!

My 12 year old son pulled this up on our road trip and I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. I was shocked at some of the episodes and the hosts laughing and making sexual innuendo jokes. Then me having to explain why the hosts thought it was so funny when a story included how a camp leader had to announce that there “can’t be any more BJ’s at camp.”

i am so grateful for youth group chronicles. i’ve been going through a long season of chronic illness and listening to youth group chronicles has been my highlight when i’ve been really sick or have lonely late nights. it might sound silly but i feel like i know y’all and we’re all in one big group chat laughing about the funniest things under the sun. sometimes laughter really is the best medicine and i appreciate you guys!
