Not a good impression of Season 2 so far
I am an advanced beginner to intermediate Italian speaker. I have been studying for several years and I travel to Italy at least once a year for several weeks at a time. I thoroughly enjoyed Season 1 because of the conversations in Italian, which tested my knowledge and understanding. So far, Season 2 has way too much chitter chatter between the hosts and not enough substance. Maybe it’s too elementary for my level of Italian learning. And, I’m not a big fan of idioms, which they tend to use a lot of. I’ll see if Season 2 improves.

This show is so entertaining, educational, and practical. I absolutely love both hosts. I love the creativity of the storylines and I love everyone’s voices. This is such an excellent podcast. I strongly suggested to anyone no matter what level you’re at!

Great compliment to my Italian learning
I have been taking Italian lessons for a while and using apps like DuoLingo. This podcast is a great compliment to those other tools. I especially like the story-based approach, the idioms and cultural notes. It is nice to learn more than just vocabulary and grammar but also the context and culture through a fun and engaging story. Grazie mille

An incredible linguistic and cultural learning opportunity.
This podcast is simply amazing. I had wanted to add a more immersive component to my Italian language learning and happened upon Postcards from Italy. It’s so good. The scaffolding of each Italian lesson is brilliant, the round table discussions are fun and engaging , and the conversations between Elisa and Erin are informative, insightful and humorous. You learn so much about Italian customs, values and way of life in addition to their focus and passion on evidence based teaching. I HIGHLY recommend subscribing to the premium content. If you want to understand “la dolce vita” this is for you! You will LEARN SO MUCH! And I am truly just a beginner. On a side note, I once had a little issue with accessing some content (my error) and I sent an email to the podcast. Erin responded immediately and helped me problem solve. Wow!
