I really enjoy the dynamic that Natalie and Tara bring to ag news. They cover a great variety of serious issues affecting the ag community, and blend it so well with fun pop-culture trends.

I’m a ranch wife in Wyoming & this is definitely one of my go to podcasts for walks & runs on the ranch! Natalie & Tara cover important issues in ag while also covering just fun pop culture information which is a nice mix. I don’t get information indigestion because they mix it up a bit. I am a fellow farmer with very different farming practices than these two women yet I very much appreciate the conversations they are bringing to the public about our food systems. Just as most things are on a spectrum, so are farming practices, and most people have very little understanding of that. As a farmer fully invested in regenerative farming, I understand that people are trying to make the best choices they can within their budget, time, and accessibility and I think that Natalie and Tara do a good job of highlighting this spectrum. I do wish they had another voice to add, maybe someone with less conventional practices or from a different type of production (like vegetables or fruit) who joined them regularly. The two women are very similar so another voice with a different opinion would add a lot to the conversation. Overall, I would recommend this podcast to other female farmers and anyone interested in food systems discussions.

As someone who grew up in a rural, farming community but lived in town and now married a farmer, I’ve always felt out of place in the farming world. I don’t even remember how I originally stumbled into Discover Ag but I am so glad I did. I love learning about all the topics the ladies talk about as someone who is Ag adjacent with friends who farm and a husband in the timber industry. The topics are always interesting and I love their takes! As well as the pop culture sprinkled in. My favorite way to unwind on my commute from work.

Native Texan here! I came across Natalie and Tara’s IG for the Western fashion and culture and absolutely fell in love with learning about agriculture. My profession is a world away from ag, but I’ve always wanted to know more about our food system and how it works. Now Thursday’s are one of my favorite commutes to work and I always learn something new.
