I am so all-in on this group after listening to their fantastic Mothership arc! Sound is great from episode 1, group chemistry is on point, love the groups balance of setting up legit dramatic moments as well as quippy humor, and there's just a flow to Out of Depth that makes them ultra bingable. Love the focus on indie TTRPG's to get a flavor of how they're played, and the arcs are a great length to get a feel for each system. Can't recommend them more highly, this show deserves a far larger audience!

I am learning how to GM for the superhero genre, and truly enjoyed the ICONS/Sunbeams series- would love to see more series like it! Educational and entertaining- a great experience!

I learned about the podcast after playing a couple Shadowdark games with Jae and Gail at GaryCon. Their podcast is just as authentic and entertaining as they are, and their love for the story comes through in every episode. Great characterization and interaction combined with Jae’s attention to detail and ability to roll with the chaos makes this a podcast for fans of any replaying system.

The Mothership Arc was so good. Very impressed by the high quality voice acting and tone setting. Excited to listen to the other arcs!

Tuned in for their 12 episode Mothership RPG arc. Great story with interesting twists and turns (written by Warden Jae), good role playing, good production, good wardening in a system that, by design, leaves a lot to GMs interpretation. Great listen to learn to Warden or just enjoy a horrific sci fi story

The Mothership season is an absolutely engrossing(and sometimes grossing out) example of everything a horror themed RPG can be. Tension, mystery, spookiness, and danger flow together at an excellent pace. From the unnerving tapestry of the setting to the deeply developed role-play from the players, this podcast also functions as an excellent learning tool for anyone interested in playing or running an atmospheric RPG like Mothership. I look forward to listening to the first season, however, even as a fan of Electric Bastionland, I must admit that I have my fingers crossed Mothership will make a recurring appearance in future seasons.

I love Electric Bastionland but there just aren’t enough examples of people playing more than one-shot (or three-shot) games with it. I can’t wait to see how it unfolds. Thank you for making this! This discovery has brightened my morning!

I’ve enjoyed the storytelling and find the characters to be fun. Okay I do have an issue with the 3 D6 rolling for checks in the bastión land game system. It’s not an equal distribution and overly penalizes rolls of 9 and below on character creation. Likewise rolls at the upper end on character creation make the character over tuned. Interested to hear your reasoning for the d6 choice further explained unless it’s just personal preference. Happy listening!

I started with Season 2 and I’m absolutely loving Jae as he guides us through the story. The characters are a delight. The editing is also top notch so no wasted time here… all story.
