I enjoy this podcast, but please STOP putting these “You might also like” podcasts in my feed!!!

Please reduce the awkward banter and giggling.

My husband and I just moved to the city and we’ve made this podcast a daily listen. The hosts and guests are realistic and personable, the “what to do this week/weekend” tips are great, and we love when they cover basic-but-necessary topics like how to drive in Pittsburgh or how to eat out on a budget.

I moved out of Pittsburgh five years ago, after being born and raised there. City Cast PGH is a great connection to my hometown, keeping me up to date about what’s going on in Pittsburgh. Great job to everyone who makes it

Love the show, especially the content. But the one host vocal fry (always dragging out the end of her sentences) make it sooo tough to listen to daily. For sure one of the best 412 pods!!

I listen regularly because they talk about interesting things in Pittsburgh. However, the hosts can’t seem to deliver a sentence without laughing at the end: I’ve taken to referring to the show as “The Giggle Girls.” And Ms. Lo has so much vocal fry and up-speak that I actually dread hearing her mentioned as a participant at the beginning of shows.

Love the show and variety of events and news covered. It is my favorite Pittsburgh podcast. I will say it drove me crazy listening to the 5/31/24 episode hearing all 3 hosts keep repeating “lymes disease” instead of Lyme disease.

I love the mix of news and events in the city. You can tell how much the team loves the city, and they have really informed and interesting guests. A MUST LISTEN!

Please for the love of all things could the host stop saying “yinz”?

I now love CCP. More trains though!!!

I’m really enjoying the variety of Pittsburgh-area topics and the great energy of the new host. Megan obviously has a ton of knowledge about the region and really does her homework before talking to guests and taking on complex topics. I would recommend this podcast to both new Pittsburghers and established residents.

RIP BRING MORGAN BACK. The content is fine but not really loving the current host.. comes off performative in a social justice way that feels inauthentic.

This is basically must listening for any Pittsburgher!

I am a huge podcast listener and have been looking for something to add to my rotation to keep me in the loop with Pittsburgh news. This show has a fun but informative tone, I'm glad it exists!

I grew up in Pittsburgh and love listening to this show. So fun to stay connected to all things Steel City, even from afar. From sports (Go Steelers!) to food to local politics, there’s a point-of-view here. It’s not NPR (in a good way), but it’s not a mindless ‘chatcast’ either. The producers dig deep into the distinctly Pittsburgh, at-this-moment conversations happening around town while also highlighting so much of what the city has to offer. I don’t think you’ll hear anything else like it.

Everyone on this team has great such great presence and takes. From the host to the producers, I truly love hearing their thoughts. The whole team gets together on Fridays to talk about news that week and its really one of my favorite things about this show. Keep it up!

This show has taught me so much about Pittsburgh and exposed me to parts of the city I’d never thought to explore! Really loving it.

My hubby is from Mercer County & it’s nice to listen to this pod to learn the history & current things happening in the “big” city that he used to live near!

I love listening to City Cast Pittsburgh! It does such a great job at capturing what’s happening in the city and beyond. A must-listen for all yinzers!

I love waking up to this show. It’s the best way to wake up to what’s going on in Pittsburgh, with thoughtful conversations, interesting news, and fun stuff too. (Can I just say how much I love the food episodes, like the stories about Heinz and strawberry pretzel salad?) These folks know Pittsburgh inside and out — and they love this city, too. The love shows!

Morgan is just the coolest and she makes me interested in stuff I wouldn’t normally find interesting. I always appreciate hearing her take.

Does the Styx song “Renegade” actually help the Steelers win? Science says yes — and the host loses a bar bet. A pure delight.

A phenomal noun and vibrant show that really doesn’t shy from the reality and loves the history of Pittsburgh!

There are two locations with large collection bins for glass. One in Bethel Park in Kohls parking lot and another at Castle Shannon Fire station parking lot (closer to city). All colors of glass and caps too. As far as “it doesn’t get recycled anyway”? It is being collected so I am putting recycling out for pick up.

Such a great way to stay on top of what’s happening locally. And eps are short so I can catch up fast!

Citycast Pittsburgh is leading the way in bringing back local news reporting after our newspapers were devastated and local tv thoroughly compromised. Hopefully Morgan and the crew are the vanguard of a renaissance of local media!

Was very excited to find this podcast. Made it through a couple episodes but the host’s sing-songy voice, trite interjections and forced casual attitude was too much to bear. Which is a shame because I love Pittsburgh and am interested in everything about the city.

Love starting my day with this show and its delightful host. She knows her city and her stuff.

It’s really new, but City Cast Pittsburgh is already an amazing source of great conversations, news, and joy about Pittsburgh. It will make you feel way more connected to the city. Host Morgan Moody is fun and warm and a mega-Steelers fan too.

I love the host’s energy, and the way she builds rapport with her guests – really keeps me engaged. What a great way to learn more about Pittsburgh, and the humans who call the city home. Keep the episodes coming!

City Cast really gives me an opportunity to express my own city more but also learn about these other beautifully unique places and I am so excited to learn more about the steel City!

As a former Pittsburgh resident and frequent return visitor to Steel City I was interested in giving this pod a try. To be fair, in the first episode, the guest and the topic were interesting. But what turned me off was the explicit, crass content of the Eat’n Park “obituary.” They did put an “E” next to the title but I think what was mentioned in the obituary shouldn’t be on a general audience podcast in the first place. All people should be able to listen to it. As well, the hosts’ editorials about the possible GOP convention being hosted in the city was unnecessary. My feeling is hosts of journalistic podcasts like this should be impartial. These hosts obviously aren’t.
