GetJetSetAn Interviewer Who ConnectsMelissa does a great job at making her guests feel comfortable and “heard”, which is one of the most important things for adoptees to feel. She has a way of naturally connecting with and empathizing with the people she interviews.

Prego at 32Adoptees chicken soup for the soulI found this podcast through an author friend who is also adopted. After listening to the episode where she tells her story of adoption, I reached out to the host, Melissa, and we created an episode together of my adoption story. This process was very healing for me. My feelings were validated and Melissa does a great job moving the conversation along. I come back to this podcast to listen to others stories and it reminds me of reading the chicken soup for the soul books. It's validating, I don't feel so alone, and I feel like I'm a part of a bigger community. Big thanks to Melissa for creating season 2 so adoptees have a safe place to share their stories.

Rev in the airGreat PodcastI recently stumbled across this podcast and am now wondering why I didn’t find it sooner. I like the fact that there are a wide range of topics and guests all relating to the adoption experience, it seems like no topic or story is too trivial or complex to be considered for a discussion. Melissa does a great job with the interview process, she seems to have a good feel for getting the most out of her interviews. Highly recommended!

MindyourownkarmaI love doing this show! It’s like hair club for men. I produce the product but I’m also a listener!! If you feel lost or alone in constellation land you are in the right place! Whether a birth parent, adoptive parent of adoptee, your story is important! It’s time to educate the world about adoption.

G. GentryA Truly Great Podcast from a Great PodcasterMind Your Own Karma is a wonderful podcast. Melissa Brunetti adds a delightful charm and gentle warmth as she engages with interesting guests. The stories of adoptees are as many and varied as there are adoptees. Melissa does a great job traveling with each person telling their story, stopping at points of interest, and asking stimulating and insightful questions along the way. Melissa possesses what I call an irenic spirit. This is a kind and peaceful demeanor which makes guests feel comfortable in her presence and like what they have to say is important to her. I highly recommend Mind Your Own Karma. Melissa is one of the best.

Beth Jan & JoeHonest and positiveThe thing I love about Melissa’s podcast is that she doesn’t sugar-coat adoption’s complexities. Yet she encourages coherence amongst the adoption constellation - adoptees, birth parents, adoptive parents, and allies. Hers is a message of personal growth and responsibility, and supporting each other on our journeys. I’m an adoptive parent who truly appreciates the honest conversations on Mind Your Own Karma.

thegatheringplaceWords of TruthI’ve just found “Mind Your Own Karma” with Host, and fellow adoptee, Melissa Brunetti. When you find people who really “get it” and are actively reaching out to help others — grab hold! I’ve only just begun to dig into the episodes, but so far, Melissa speaks hope, transformation, and loving self and others.

carina.kayyCompassionate and personableI have such an appreciation for the work you are doing outside of your day job with MYOK. Everyone’s stories and the education in general are helping me as a therapist to be more compassionate and supportive for adoptees and adoption parents. It is also validating for me regarding not having my dad involved growing up. I also have lots of trauma regarding my mother whom I lived with which unfortunately provided me some of the experiences adoptees discuss as well. Just saying thank you and I am still a dedicated listener 💜

Mayfly005Season 2 Adoption Chronicles is WowI have really enjoyed listening along to Melissa's story and her personal reflections about her past and how it's affected her life. As someone who went to high school with Melissa, I had no idea she was adopted. Listening to her reflections and internal conflicts made me realize we truly have no idea what other people are going through, and how they're processing their world. It really has helped me to remember how unique we all are and that we never do fully know everything about another person. We are complex beings who need each other. This podcast is a wonderful affirmation of our depth and interconnectedness as human beings.

Melissa bravely approaches these very emotional topics with clarity and honesty and brings others of our tribe into the conversation. You will discover that even though you may feel alone against the world, you aren’t. Discussions here will help you progress and process feelings you may have had and couldn’t give a voice to in the past. The stories will resonate with you on a level you may not have recognized before.

Yo CannyLove Season 2 Direction!Your passion and dedication to help adoptee and their adopters is to be commended. You come from a place of love and compassion, and even understanding and acceptance for a flawed system. Job well done!! Important for everyone to listen and how we can be supportive.

rootedinstarlightThe topics are timely!I really enjoy this podcast for the variety of topics! Melissa has the ability to tackle these topics with her natural style and has no problem sharing how they can relate to her own life. The episode on bitterness was so on target and I enjoyed listening to a topic that does not get much attention. I love how it also tied into Melissa's podcast title and what she believes on the topic of karma. Melissa covers some profound topics with grace and innate power that makes you feel welcome to her space.
