Not very good. Listened to the H20 and Halloween episodes. Clearly no research is done on the movies being discussed. Which may be fine for some but there are SO many good horror podcast out there and a lot of really great lqbtq horror pods. You have to at least know the story behind the H20 mask (not 1 mask) and music. H20 is an awful movie (my opinion, but it objectively has a lot of issues) and you have not one criticism? Friday the 13th. Wow. Thinking this was PG-13 because “R wasn’t around yet.” Wrong there too. PG-13 wasn’t around which is why films like Jaws are rated PG. you can almost (almost) be forgiven for claiming The Faculty is PG-13, but wow. Goes to show, zero effort is put into this podcast.

I jumped in with the Dawn of the Dead episode and loved how the discussion contrasted the humanity of the original with the total lack of meaning in the 2004 remake. Great show.

One of my favorite podcasts!

I listen to a TON of podcasts, and a lot of horror-related ones. Jamie and Bhavna have quickly become two of my favorite hosts. They are funny, but take horror movies seriously and bring on great guests. I particularly enjoyed the "Get Out" episode where I heard new takes and information about the movie after having listened to dozens of other commentaries. Keep it up!!!

I’m here for a show that genuinely loves the genre while also being honest about the movies they love. We need more of this kind of criticism and we need more Bloody Broads in the podcast game. I cannot wait to hear the rest of this season!!

I’ll be honest—horror movies are often too scary for me. But it is such a delight to hear Jamie and Bhavna dissect everything from cinematography to psychology, and provide profound insights along the way, that I might actually put on my big girl pants and watch more. I can’t wait for more episodes!
