The information desert here in the US is real. These women are well-informed about Ukraine and Russia relations. A must listen if you want to know what is happening and how we can make a difference. Being informed is the first step.

Olga and Mo are very knowledgeable hosts who interview equally knowledgeable guests on all things related to Russia’s conflict with the Western democracies. Special attention is paid to the kinetic and especially hybrid war with Ukraine. The hybrid war with the West in general is astonishing in extent. Everyone is a combatant now in the information war! The insights and the depth is exceptional. You can also find the astute commentary of Olga Lautman on X/Twitter. Don’t miss this podcast!

So through and meaty and detailed. Like an excellent meal, extremely satisfying! Keep up the good work, I know it’s greedy but I’m dying for more episodes. Thanks!

FIRST AND FOREMOST: Please — on podcasts you cannot do “active listening” vocal prompts: i.e. “Uh-huh,” “yep,” “yeah,” “oh,” “wow,” “really?” “Unbelievable,” “hmmm,” “ok,” “right,” “absolutely,” “very true,” “exactly,” etc during interviews! Most of this pod’s guests do interviews all the time and know there’s supposed to be silence between your question/commentary, and their answer. It’s fine to interject and build-upon what they’re saying, or redirect — but it’s not only impossible to edit audio where the host constantly over talks the guest, but it’s impossible to listen to when your entire episode is THE interview and clocks an hour or more. Please — stop overtalking a guest just to say “woooow.” I’m sorry, I really like the hosts at the end of the day, but sometimes I get so frustrated I resent them. Also cutting off guests so the listener can’t hear what they’re saying, just because the host is familiar with it and that’s how they’re used to talking with friends — by INTERRUPTING and OVERTALKING THEM — doesn’t mean you can cut off the listener from hearing. Interviews feel like conversations for the hosts most of the time — not for the listeners to walk away informed, or guests to feel heard. I had to stop listening and write this because the host is either blocking the most important parts from being heard, or saying “uh-huh” or “mmmhmmm” AT LEAST every 3 seconds (at 1.5x speed). Also, the volume is too loud with the hosts many times — and sometimes one of the hosts yells, and I just have to give-up before I start screaming back. I get this is personal for you, but you should never record an interview while upset and reactive — because we all get repetitive and don’t listen well when we’re in the thick of our feelings. Several episodes at the start of the invasion this happened. At least 6, the guests struggled to keep either host on topic, and often it would devolve into yelling until the interviewee stopped talking. I don’t need to hear 2 or even 3 people yelling over eachother on a podcast!! 2 hosts, 1 guest. Hosts shouldn’t be interrupting eachother either. Please be more professional and think of the listeners first. Otherwise, why do this at all if you don’t care about us being informed or getting anything out of this??

I just started listening to this podcast in July 2022, the episodes are from a year ago, and it’s spooky how they are so spot on with what has now happened in Ukraine. This podcast is very good for the breadth of knowledge that these 2 women and their guests share about Russia, and how it matters to all of us, most likely your country is being infiltrated by Russia and you may not even be aware of it.

I started listening to Kremlin File early in 2022 and I wish I had found it sooner! I’ve learned SO much about Russian politics and their cyber warfare tactics thanks to Olga and Mo. What is happening in the U.S. politically with the division and hatred makes so much more sense now. Both ladies are wonderful and work together beautifully. Thank you SO much for sharing this important information!!

I love this podcast but I wish the hosts would stop interrupting each other and their guests. It’s distracting. I also feel Olga wasn’t trying to understand what Mo was saying with her comparison of Covid vs Ukraine. She was talking about misinformation, not which tragedy was worse. The information we are given by Olga and Mo is too important to miss. I truly appreciate these two ladies and want to hear what each of them has to say.

At first, you think you’re eavesdropping on two grandmothers talking over coffee. Then it sinks in; these ladies really know their business. You realize how much you have to learn about Russia.

This podcast is so well done. I’m becoming, alarmingly more informed and shocked with each episode. Keep up the amazing work!!

I thought I was the only one seeing all this stuff. Great job. But please stop interrupting with all the “yep” “uhuh” “that’s right.” It’s kind of annoying and very distracting from the fabulous content.

This podcast helps me step back and observe current events more objectively. I was an occasional listener up until recently, from here in, I will likely not miss an episode. Balanced, informed and a great accompaniment to my other favorite… “knowledge fight” (although the tone is somewhat different)

A great look into the actions of the Kremlin!

I listen to the podcasts at least twice! This is critical information especially for Americans. We tend not to pay attention or care about what’s happening in other countries. This is a cautionary roadmap for how the good people of any country can have their rights stripped away (like free and fair elections) and their government to devolve into tyranny, autocracy or plutocracy. I’m so grateful for this podcast, eager for the next episode.
