    A Healing Journey Through WarDocs
As a former Fleet Marine Force corpsman and a current premedical student, I found WarDocs to be a captivating and deeply resonant podcast that artfully blends the worlds of military service and medicine. This podcast provides a unique perspective on the challenges faced by medical professionals in the field, and it struck a chord with me on a personal level. The storytelling on WarDocs is both powerful and immersive. The firsthand accounts from military medics and doctors offer a gripping insight into the realities of providing medical care in the midst of conflict. As a former corpsman, I could relate to the intense situations described and appreciate the raw authenticity that each episode brings. One aspect that sets WarDocs apart is its ability to bridge the gap between the military experience and the medical profession. The podcast doesn't just focus on the battlefield; it delves into the emotional and psychological toll that war takes on both patients and caregivers. As a premedical student, I found this exploration of the human side of medicine to be particularly insightful and thought-provoking. Doug’s interviewing skills are commendable, allowing the guests to share their stories in a genuine and unfiltered manner. The conversations are well-paced, and the production quality is top-notch, enhancing the overall listening experience. WarDocs manages to balance the gravity of war with moments of hope and resilience. It sheds light on the importance of medical professionals in the military, showcasing their dedication, courage, and the impact they have on the lives of those they serve. In conclusion, WarDocs is a must-listen for anyone interested in the intersection of military service and healthcare. For me, it served as a reminder of the profound impact that individuals in the medical field can have during times of conflict. I highly recommend this podcast to fellow veterans, healthcare professionals, and anyone who appreciates compelling stories that transcend boundaries.

    Inspirational and Touching
Incredibly well executed episodes with thorough insight into the details of careers in military medicine. I never leave an episode without learning something new or having a new appreciation for those who serve. A beautiful touch to the show is how Doug asks each guest what they want their legacy to be. The hosts empower the guests in telling their stories and do well at formatting it as a look into the person’s life and motivators for a lifetime of service. Not enough good can be said about this project

You can hear directly from the best and brightest in the field, from senior enlisted personnel to Surgeons General. It’d be hard to find another source with so much consolidated wisdom on incredibly important topics.

    Every young civilian should listen
I am a former Navy Hospital Corpsman, Vietnam Era. It makes me proud to hear these stories of real heros. Regarding the Corpsmen interviewed, they operate on such a high level, they are really inspiring. If civilians worked on this level, with equal dedication to their country and their fellow “shipmates”, this would be a different country.

Very Articulate and Meaningful Sharing of Information
This Podcast episode is the best and most meaningful dialogue I have had the pleasure of listening to regarding healthcare in the military and veteran world. Hearing this from the perspective of not only an effective leader, but also an experienced war veteran, brings so much credence and meaning to what has been presented here. Dr Stone has shown in this podcast how articulate and passionate he is about the quality of care needed for those who have served, and continue to serve, our great nation. Well done!

Most Informative Resource for Military Medicine
I am a current applicant to USUHS. This podcast has greatly informed my decision about which branch and specialty to pursue. While I’ve been researching military medicine for several years, I’ve learned more about military medicine’s unique opportunities and challenges from this podcast than from any other source. Thank you for providing such an outstanding resource for the next generation of military physicians.

    Great Podcast
As a new M1 HPSP recipient, this is a great podcast to listen to during my commute to school to get a perspective on what my future holds as a military physician. My one comment would be that the audio had a slight clicking or popping noise in the first 5 episodes. I haven’t listened to the rest but hopefully you can resolve this. Excited for more episodes!
