T Crow 3Please stay away from politicsThe topic data and analytics is far more interesting than hearing about someone’s left-wing or right ring views

GXH WAEvery World of DaaS showI have thoroughly enjoyed every single one of the shows I have listened to. I listen to them multiple times. I’ve also discovered I like listening to the content as I fall asleep at night, and even as I take a nap. It makes me concentrate just enough to fall asleep effortlessly. Can’t wait for the next show. I’m ready to go back further in the library and listen to more. Much credit to ZoomInfo CEO Henry Schuck. The show he was on was where I discovered World of DaaS. The show with David Sinclair is awesome too. Thank you so much, Auren, for this content.

TrueohioplayaSBF comments not aging wellScaramacci's glowing review of SBF are not aging well. The "Amazon of crypto"? Within a few days of this podcast being posted FTX has filed for bankruptcy and the fallout is still being uncovered. I definity liked the honest Scaramucci displayed.
-
Varya_hiGreat podcastKnowledgeable speakers and thoughtful host allows for a deep dive in different areas. Often wish they were longer (Tim Ferris type deep dive) as it’s so interesting to listen.

ObjectivismIsNotPhilosopyThis Piece of Trash Tracks Individual Women and Sells the Data.Nothing is more evil than collaborating with an authoritarian government in its persecution of women This man (if you can call him that) is tracking our wives and our daughters and their proximity to abortion clinics and then selling the data to tyrannical Red State governments so our spouses, sibling and children can be arrested for murder. He’s sick and will do anything for profit.
-
Scooter3297FascistThis piece of crap is collecting data on people who visit women’s health clinics and selling it to the highest bidder.
-

HMKWestThought provoking!Fascinating and accessible to not only data enthusiasts but also the merely data curious. Enjoy who enjoys analytical thinking will appreciate these dynamic conversations.
-
tiffkneeFantastic interviewsThe first set of episodes have been super interesting! Really great set of guests and unique content.
-
OMc_Great contentReally insightful content. My work only touches DaaS tangentially, but I nonetheless find it really insightful. In addition to being super smart, Auren makes it a point to seek out other super smart people to learn from them. That alone makes this a good listen.

mythunderIt’s About Time!I’ve struggled in finding legitimate Data-As-A-Service resources beyond the occasional blog posts and articles. Auren’s World of DayS provides much needed insights from folks and companies who have forged a path for all data companies. Succinct, poignant and insightful, I’ve benefitted listening to all of the episodes thus far. And the entire Spire Global Data Services organization has benefitted as well!

Dina SrinivasanReviewAll around, great podcast about data and technology. Auren's a great host and his guests engaging and interesting.

Dinarebecca1Great DaaS podcast! This is a great DaaS podcast with a terrific host. I didn’t know much about this world but am finding it fascinating and inspiring. I know Will and Hilary socially but wasn’t really familiar with their work and how they think about data .. I’m grateful to this podcast for giving me - and all of us - a terrific peek inside.
-
mj192314RefreshingA renewed and welcome industry podcast, as data becomes increasingly critical to solving problems. Thoughtful and provocative!

Just-n-Time-12345Born for thisAuren was born for this and is a natural sherpa for the world of data. Great content and very interesting guests, with a concentration on data-related issues that otherwise tend to be interspersed in dribs and drabs in more general business content. Great podcast.
-
Soccer girl23Nothing Like ThisThoughtful and provoking, there is nothing quite like this DaaS podcast in the podcast world. The host is personable and covers so many different topics related to the giant that is data. Can’t wait for future episodes!

geonerd-1776A much needed niche podcast for an equally niche spaceI feel we often speak of data as if it were ancillary to data science, which I must say is a bit ironic. Thankfully, this podcast goes straight to the meat and bones of the matter. I particularly appreciate the wide scope of attendees and highly recommend the Esri CEO’s podcast as a starting point for those still new to the “world of DaaS”.

dizz-nee fabWorld of Daas - a Podcast for Data Enthusiasts by Data EnthusiastsI work in venture capital—an industry where I listen to podcasts daily to learn about technologies, people and companies as part of my job. I am a super consumer of podcasts. A technology that has long fascinated me is data and data science. When I learned that iconic entrepreneur and investor, Auren Hoffman of SafeGraph, was launching a new podcast called World of Daas, I was intrigued. The premise is, “a podcast for data enthusiasts by data enthusiasts.” I found the episodes that I listened to to be conversational, not stiff or scripted. I felt like I had joined Auren and his guests for a coffee except that I walked away richer and more knowledgeable than when I arrived. There were “nuggets” of information to be gleaned about the quantitative and qualities aspects of data science; data ethics; and how data science has progressed over the past 10 years. I thoroughly enjoy highly recommend World of Daas!

Ken from CAThe ESRI ParadoxThe Environmental Systems Research Institute is the most interesting company you’ve never heard of - unknown only because the founder, Jack Dangermond, is focused on being “interested” (continuous learning) vs “interesting” (going public and driving fancy cars). It is so refreshing to hear from a leader who has followed his own North Star of executive subordination to foster a culture of service and excellence. This while simultaneously reinvesting heavily - 30% of revenues - in innovation and the employee base - 20% of profits. Jack lands firmly in the pantheon of self-effacing, Hall if Fame leaders like Chuck Feeney and Reed Hastings.
-
Lcc25684Totally worth the listen!Thought provoking and inspirational, even for those that are completely new to the data world! Truly insightful interviews - it was cool to learn about the evolution of the data science role and take away learnings from the Esri business that can apply to work life, personal life, and starting a business. Excited to see what else is in the line up!
-

-
BlaurggHost’s insider voice makes for great interviewsThe topics are compelling and the guests are excellent, but what differentiates this podcast from others is that the host is himself the CEO of a data company, so he asks great questions that are at the forefront of the field. Great for anyone interested in data, data science, entrepreneurship, how to build great teams, and more.
-
Miles12126Informative and engagingFirst time listening in to the world of daas and I’m a big fan! Such an interesting industry and looking forward to learning a ton more.
-
m_litInsightful and Entertaining PodcastGreat insights into Amazon/AWS. My favorite quote [in relation to the importance of being customer-centric]: ”customers have this amazing quality of being perpetually dissatisfied". As a former Customer Success Manager during Project Manager, this especially resonated with me. Second favorite quote (or rather, analogy) was calling Amazon's leadership principles like an "API for people”.
-
BeeeeelindurInsightful!Learn something new with every episode. Super interesting guests. Host definitely knows what he’s talking about
-
eliannemAmazing podcastThis podcast is essential to anyone in the data world!
