beverlaneNot a listener? You Poor Unfortunate Soul!Generally, idle prattle can be defined as foolish and irrelevant talk. Idle Prattle is anything but that! This podcast team has aced the process of sharing their passion for Disney in a way that allows the listener to sit at the table and become a part of their circle of friends. The podcast features deep dives into aspects of the films that are important to Abigail, Chris, and Eli. It is an authentic, nostalgic, thought-provoking look into why these films exist, how they hold up, and what they can teach us today. Idle Prattle quickly became #1 on my list of podcasts. I give them 5/5 for humor, compassion, knowledge, fun, and genuine camaraderie!

AtheOliveA must-listen for adult Disney fansIf you’ve ever wanted to belong to a book club but Disney movies instead of books, this is the podcast for you. This talented trio make the listener feel like one of the gang as they hash out the awesomeness, the cringe-worthiness, and the fun facts about a new movie each week. I’m taken back to my childhood in some moments and face challenging discussions in others, creating a lovely balance between Disney magic and a mature sensibility. It’s also been helpful for me in deciding which Disney movies I want to show my kids, at what ages, and what conversations may be necessary or helpful to have beforehand. Keep up the good work AC&E!

DylanJuice83Improving Every WeekThe discussions, the laughs, and the sound quality have only gotten better with each episode. Start by listening to the episode of your favorite movie but then continue to get sucked in and feel like you’re making 3 new friends along the way. Abigail, Eli and Chris are super insightful and I really appreciate them taking the time to talk about the tough topics when it comes to these Disney movies. I can’t wait to dig into the Renaissance with them!

Megara (Friends Call Me Meg)Funny and insightful!Thrilled to hear the films of my childhood examined through a 2020 lens. Chris, Eli, and Abigail discuss the world of Disney animation with such heart while never failing to hold it accountable when necessary. It’s funny, sweet, and makes you think. Looking forward to hearing more!
