The Strategists

Professional unprofessional strategists Stephen Carter, Corey Hogan and Zain Velji dissect the news of the day, pass judgment on strategy choices and lift back the curtain on how decisions are made. Described as "the least deliberate podcast of all time", "shockingly insightful" and "sports talk radio for politics". Not sponsored by Flair Airlines. ADQ
Love this show, loved the episode from Oct 4…but I think on your discussions you skipped the ADQ which I think should be part of the evolution history of the CAQ

Best Cdn political podcast for Cdn expats.
Cory is informative, Carter entertaining and Zain somehow keeps them both on track.

Great show from a listener in the United States
I just discovered this podcast. I studied Canadian politics at a university in the United States and this podcast has increased my knowledge tremendously and I love the commentary you guys are not only informative but also very funny. You are the elixir that the world needs when it comes to learning about politics during these very uncertain times. Thanks for the great show up and keep up the great work you are doing you are truly making a difference!

Genuinely Surprised This Podcast isn’t the #1 Canadian Politics Podcast: A List
    1) not events based but process based (ie how X responds to Y, or should/ should not and why. 2) these three are hilarious 3) balanced perspectives /different approaches to politics that can be explained in a way which those with another perspective can understand. 4) valuable source of important Canadian news not covered elsewhere ie all Dairy Queen news, etc etc.
  • Fun and thought provoking
    Irreverent, Thoughtful
These guys keep getting better and better. Great for all Canadians of almost all polticial stripes. One of my favourite take no prisoners podcasts.

    Good but
If only they would record a new podcast with some regular cadence.

This show is one of the best podcasts out there for current affairs and political nerd types, even if you aren’t from Alberta or even Canada. I’m in and from DC in US (though parents, etc. are from Quebec). These guys are responsible for my seemingly irrational interest in Canadian politics. It’s even crazier that I follow Alberta politics. Never been to any province other than Quebec. Probably won’t ever get out to Alberta. These three guys are hilarious in their own way, and all are similarly brilliant in the way they discuss/explain things about the provincial and federal politics. Never boring.
