mrjko🌟 Five Stars 🌟This is exactly what I have been looking for! I am Chinese and speak Cantonese. My parents wanted me to learn Mandarin as a child but like all children, I was pugnacious so did not. I regret not learning Mandarin when I had the chance but it is never too late. This podcast is amazing and so helpful. I do the weekly lessons until I master the lesson and vocabulary before moving on. Make sure to do the bonus homework lessons as well. Please keep this podcast going and let us know how to support.

sevenpoodlesCan’t say enough about this podcastI haven’t found any other podcast quite like this one. Isaac’s language learning wisdom makes so much sense, and I learn so much from the dialogues. I can’t recommend it enough if you want to have a blast learning mandarin.

AiyArghSuper JobWell organized so far. Should probably mention this is Taiwan Mandarin which is contrary to all the main-stream apps/social media language teachers. I've lived in Taiwan and do self-study and have been bullied into silence for learning/practicing Mainland/awkward/ancient/simplified Chinese. So far so good. Episode 7 was annoyingly painful. More so on me but I wouldn't speak like that in English or Chinese so I was more annoyed that anything. Also... Was wondering if you explain the "why" behind some vocab words. Not sure if it they exist but I always question why thinking I can take the vocab apart and use it for another instance.

SusieSeattle11Such a good way to learn Mandarin ChineseOne of the most intuitive, relaxing, and encouraging ways to learn what is often considered a difficult language for English speakers. They are bite sized, at around 15 minutes each, but still comprehensive. It’s not just memorizing a bunch of separate words, phrases and grammar, it’s really about how to have real conversations.

Rockbell2319Love it! Groundbreaking! Please keep making this. For somebody that listens to podcasts over and over as I work/ commute. I love that you include the listening practice episodes. I’ve been trying to get friends to help me create something similar. Now you’ve made just what I need. I also love your approach. Language is about learning and not just memorization. Fantastic work. Please keep it up as long as you can. Thank you!
