WhittyOQuick & CalmingListening to the Daily Shine is such a great way to start my day. The podcast helps me start my day with intention and on a positive note. I have a hard time succinctly (and quickly) stating daily affirmations for myself and this always allows me to see a message I need so clearly. Sometimes the affirmations have nothing to do with the message on the podcast but setting aside this short time allows me to focus on me, my mental health, and my state of mind.

han2010000Life changing podcastThis is one of my absolute favorite podcast to start the day with. Each of the episodes always seem to come at the right time. It’s my fall under the genre of self-help, but this podcast goes beyond self-help and actually gives listeners real, concrete ways to improve their mental health and to be mentally resilient as they get ready for their day or come to the end of a long day. Each of these episodes are not too long, between 8 to 12 minutes. There are always some sort of breathing exercise and some good advice and reminders on how to be more mentally resilient as we go about our daily lives. I often find myself sharing what I’ve learned with family and friends, which helps them deal with their own struggles and turn. I am so glad this podcast exists!

There is so much fear going around and it's more difficult than ever to find stuff worth listening to that doesn't make you feel like a deteriorating, anxious mess. Daily Shine is perfect - episodes are very helpful and informative without being overwhelming. So glad companies like Shine are making it easier to have a productive conversation about mental health. Absolutely worth a listen!

I used to use Calm every day, but it was too much slience for me and couldn't quite focus on just my breaths. The Daily Shine is light, conversational and makes it easy to ground my day in mindfulness. I also love the host's voice - it's so soothing. And the music always leaves me inspired to go through my day, especially during these uncertain times where I've felt a lot of anxiety. Huge shout out to the Shine team for continuing to produce such great content every day to help us all through this time.
