This podcast alone has changed my entire view on communism. As a vet, I will try to introduce my comrades to this. The communist revolution is nigh.

This is America, the red-white, and blue banner shall fly high and proud. In the name of the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.

They parrot the far-Left talking points they got from their extremist professors, to « explain » why oppression is better than liberty.

I have listened to Why We Are Communist several times I was born and raised in the USA and to say that I am a communist is to difficult I say I am a Marxist WOW thank you loved it

This podcast goes deeper than most, with organization FINALLY being the main focus. Revolutionary Left Radio is an amazing podcast for theory, as is Upstream, but I’ve always wanted something more geared towards forming an actual movement and taking real actions to get the ball rolling. There are so many of us who listen to the same podcasts. It’s time to start building bridges between all of the different like minded individuals and coming together as a united organization. I genuinely believe that if we get a list of demands, pick a date next year for a general strike, then have every leftist podcast promote the strike, it would be a great first step to get this movement going.

America is a great country, shameful that we have people that openly disrespect veterans and freedom.

Fantastic podcast! Serious comrades who clearly understand revolutionary history, theory, and philosophy. Love the series on the Civil War and appreciate the timely republishing of fundamental perspectives as current events unfold. Highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about socialism and the tasks of the working class today.

This podcast is a breath of fresh air from the stifling cynicism and “practical” politics of much of the American Left. These are ideas and consistently revolutionary conclusions that can inspire working people to fight for something better, rather than what scraps the capitalists and their two parties let us have. Jacobin and the other social democratic “intellectuals” can go sniff their farts in a corner—this is the type of genuine Marxist analysis working people need!

This is by far the most informative and exciting podcast produced by the American left.

I subbed just to write a review. I will not add this pod to Left Reckoning, Jacobin, and TMBS in my rotation The first 45m or so was good, level- headed Marxist analysis. For a hot minute, I thought it would be a good addition to my socialist info diet. What killed the deal was the juvenile political analysis that concluded the show. These are the fools who felt “betrayed” by Sanders dropping out and not running a third party wrecker campaign. Bernie was given access to the Democratic Party ballot line on the condition that he not do just that. The campaign understood that. Thank god they did not take these useful idiots advice. When the dude went dum-dum left on me with the Jimmy Derr line on FTV, I realized we will not be comrades. I will be denouncing you and your Org as a danger to the Left project.
