But instead of thoughtful insight, you get partisan hot takes marinated in smugness and served on a platter of false dichotomies. Imagine two guys yelling “TRUTH!” at each other in increasingly panicked tones while avoiding anything resembling self-awareness. That’s the show. Each episode dives into current events with all the subtlety of a bullhorn in a library. The nuance is non-existent, opposing viewpoints are straw-manned into oblivion, and if you make it through an entire episode without yelling at your headphones, you may be legally eligible for sainthood.

I love verdict but stop airing the clay and buck show. If I wanted to listen to them I’d subscribe.

Hey Rafael it would be really helpful to those who have suffered a hit to 401ks if you would ask Elon to share who is paying protesters. Those who have been protesting for free could use the info. You are a lawyer right and Elon surely would not be blowing smoke on your esteemed podcast. I would think you have more important work to do but very little judgement.

Posting too much is making your show more irrelevant vs novel like at the start of the show.

I’ve been a subscriber for a couple of years now, starting when Michael Knowles was the host, and now with Host Ben Ferguson. I enjoy listening to Senator Cruz give his insights on current world events, and I eagerly look forward to each new episode with the Senator However, recently The Verdict podcast is being spammed with unrelated podcasts that I either already subscribe to or do not wish to hear. I wish that the producers of Verdict would stop adding unrelated podcasts to this feed. I want to know when Senator Cruz has a new episode, not when Ben has a new 47 Morning Update podcast. I already subscribe to that podcast, and don’t need to see it repeated on Verdict.

Ted, you must do something about guns man. You probably will not read my review anyway because your podcast does not do that. Did you hear about what happened today? Yeah another school shooting. I am tired of hearing about them. Desantis needs to do more on guns. The shooters father is a police officer too. Red states like your state need to come together to find ways to improve gun safety. How about background checks? We keep losing people because of this. You guys need to stop playing politics and do what your fellow Texans elected you to do. As a Liberal I do not like many Conservatives but one Conservative that I would really support for President would be Chris Christie. You did a recap of the second Republican debate and you seemed annoyed that he was running and that he was going after Trump. Chris Christie should be the face of the GOP. I would be fine with that. I do not think you like Moderates very much. Christie is a good debater. He threw your boy Rubio into trap and knocked him out of the race. Rubio looked like a high schooler on that stage. Chris Christie would do something about this issue. Less hiding/lying and more action.

I subscribe to this podcast to hear what Ted Cruz thinks. I don’t really care a lot what Ben Ferguson thinks. But you’re pushing his podcast and other podcasts to me now. I don’t like that.

There is far too much duplication and unwanted downloads that now clutter my feed between this and 47 update. Don’t have time to curate my feed own from unwanted “suggestions” so unsubbed from both.

I’ve subscribed to Verdict a long time, but don’t appreciate you filling my feed for many days now with OTHER podcasts. I can appreciate you promoting others now &then but this constant posting of 1 other pod is excessive & inconsiderate. Friendly request! Please honor it

I love senator cruz and his insight. Now Ben on the other hand not so much with half the podcast being commercials! It was never this way when Micheal Knowles ran it with you. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Love the actual Verdict podcast, but wish they would stop with the “Bonus” episodes that are a completely different show. Recommending another show, or maybe even previewing it once, would be okay. But playing someone else’s show week after week, and passing it off as a “bonus” Verdict episode is annoying. If I wanted to listen to another show, I’d subscribe. Also, stop the recap episodes that simply repackage the episodes from the prior week.

Ted is super informative, and tends to get long winded (shocker, right? For a SENATOR to be long winded? I mostly knocked a star off because the co-host can’t say anything without shouting. But it’s accurate and timely and this is the only place to get the behind the scenes of the goings on in the senate. They should uncouple the 47 update from this feed because it’s only Ben and like I said, he only has ONE volume and it’s to pretend he’s four feet from the microphone at a baseball game in 1947.

I started following Verdict with Ted Cruz podcast when it started with Knowles. Now I’m getting two other pods that I never wanted. Dump the garbage. I’m out.

Senator Cruz, your best shows are your most informative. I enjoy learning with you about the inside of my government and why things happen the way they do. With that being said, I miss you taking questions from fans. Keep up the good work!

Have subscribed to this podcast for 45 episodes, It’s informative—and funny! Cruz has an awesome sense of humor that makes the time fly while listening to this podcast, and it’s evident he has far more common sense than the average politician. His take on issues and inside view of “how the sausage is made” in Washington is quite informative. Listening to it has revealed to me that there actually are some people in Washington with common sense—who knew! The length of the episodes is usually just under 30 min, perfect for not needing a huge chunk of free ear time to listen to it. I highly recommend this podcast, you’ll actually look forward to the next episode. I do. UPDATE: Still a great podcast but sad that you promote a tobacco product (cigars) that causes cancer. Remember cigar fan Rush Limbaugh, taken too soon by LUNG CANCER? Don’t put yourselves on the same early death path. Find better sponsors that don’t kill you or your listeners. UPDATE: Glad the graphics now indicate a non-Ted podcast but it’s annoying to have other non-Ted podcasts in the cue. Keep them separate!

I’m annoyed by being flooded with episodes that are not Verdict and they are other pods getting stuck here. If I wanted to listen to Daily Review or 47 Update I would subscribe to those.

This used to be a great podcast. It offered a unique perspective nobody else had. It got more promotional when Cruz signed whatever deal and Ben Ferguson joined. Now there are endless “bonus pods” that are just direct copies of other podcasts, plus the “extra” Saturday recap that’s just a replay. What a sellout grifter.

“Verdict with Ted Cruz” is an insufferable mix of self-righteousness, fake intellectualism, and shameless pandering. Cruz drones on with a smug, know-it-all tone, spinning reality to fit his partisan agenda while pretending to be a great constitutional scholar. It’s tedious, disingenuous, and utterly painful to listen to.

Great hard hitting podcast that asks and exposes the answers to most questions people won’t ask!

Ted Cruz and Ben Ferguson are very knowledgeable about what is going on and I’m glad to have a Senator discussing the issues we face in America, both the good and the bad. I keeps me praying for our leaders and keeps everyone informed. Keep up the good work.

Agree with his positions and analysis, but I wish Ted would get some coaching and decide to eliminate his stammer, which is reminiscent of Obama’s… Hard to listen to.

99.9% Alex Jones style conspiracy theories. This podcast is the epitome of why these politicians don’t care about you and just want to give you the orders on how you should feel. Even though their orders are based on disinformation and lies.

Ted has standards and stands up for our principles in the Senate. Ben is a two bit host that regurgitates content and plays ads to no end. Ted’s decision to have Ben on his show has made it unbearable. If you are looking for Conservative Content, look elsewhere. Ben has sunk yet another show. Update: Haven’t listened for a few weeks now. Came back to see if Ben and all the ads were still there. They are. Just as cringy and lack-lister as I remember.

So I have the Verdict with Ted Cruz and I downloaded the 47 update with Ben Ferguson. Now I can’t tell which days I’m gonna listen to the 47 update twice or its verdict, It seems like it’s the same show just duplicated. I feel like they need to separate or just be one podcast because it’s more frustrating than anything. Will can stars accordingly.
