WillM1234BEST Spanish learning podcast!I am thoroughly enjoying How to Spanish podcast. I majored in Spanish in college and want to start saying with confidence that I am fluent. This podcast and its diverse learning topics and conversations is helping me get better every week! Thanks David and Ana for what you do and HOW you do it. Keep it up!!! I will become a part of Patron soon!

Ajaz0810Good podcast for intermediate and advancedIf you’re trying to learn Spanish you need to listen to lots and lots of content but that content can’t be too hard or you won’t understand. This podcast is perfect for intermediate learners. They speak clearly and are interesting.

JoeyjojoshabaduSuper Tutor & Super PodcastBefore I got my teaching credential to authorize me to teach in Spanish, I remember getting a handful of tutoring sessions with Ana. What stuck out was she was really good at explaining things in English & Spanish—like professional Interpreter good. Some tutors I had online via video chat weren’t as good understanding the the challenges learning Spanish as an English speaker. I am glad Ana and David are doing a podcast. I wish them well. It has been a few years since I last listened to the podcast(cuz my life got busy), now I am excited to keep up and refine my Spanish by listening to this podcast coming back from my work commute. ¡Dios les bendiga a ustedes, David y Ana!

uttgggggfsreeddddsWonderful Learning ResourceThis excellent podcast really stands out for the quality of its engaging and naturalistic style. The hosts do a fantastic job of making the conversations intelligible without sounding artificially stilted, monotone, or "dumbed down". I find this natural, conversational style both easier to follow and more entertaining--which for me go hand in hand, as I can better follow any spoken Spanish when the speaker is dynamic and engaging and clearly interested in what they're communicating, and I expect it's the same for most people (and even when my comprehension is lower than I'd like I still manage to follow the gist without tuning out because I'm still engaged). But I fully appreciate that successfully doing this while keeping the language level-appropriate is a lot harder than you might think! However, these folks have nailed it.

Cobra kai 601Best Spanish Learning PodcastI have been looking for a Spanish learning podcast that is specific to Mexico for so long and I am so happy I found this one! You guys are so easy to understand and I love how you interact with each other. My husband is from Mexico City so I understand all the references and I love it! Keep up the good work!

Lost VolumesGreat comprehensible input for intermediate/advancedI’ve been learning Spanish through Comprehensible Input for 4 years. This show and others like it have helped me move from an intermediate to an advanced level. I often listen to an episode more than once, and the second time I pause and repeat parts of it aloud to improve my delivery. I also transcribe episodes or parts of episodes to increase my awareness of details I might miss when listening. The content and delivery are great, and the hosts seem like really nice people. I would recommend this show for anyone at that intermediate/advanced stage where you can understand the majority of what you hear, but are working on expanding your range of vocabulary, idioms, expressions, etc.

Jack73880Love this podcastListening to Ana and David has helped me out a ton with my Spanish! I love learning all the common phrases used in Mexico.

kayakbrianGood intermediate to advanced Mexican Spanish podcastThis podcast is special to me because it was the first one I found. I’ve been watching their videos on YouTube, and listening to the podcast as well for about a year. When I started, I could only understand about 15% of the podcast but now I can understand about 85% a year later. I’m also a Patreon subscriber, which gives you access to the interactive transcripts, which are a hugely helpful tool. (basically you can listen to the podcast while it’s scrolls through the text automatically.) David and Anna put a huge amount of work into their videos and podcasts and website. Thank you guys for the work that you do.

Kristi d Lawrence¡Perfecto! This is my favorite podcast for language learning. They speak at a natural speed instead of some of the painfully slow learning podcasts I’ve listened to before. The pronunciation is clear and accessible for intermediate learners. Ana and David are pleasant to listen to and work well with each other. They have a natural rhythm for podcasting. They pick interesting and varied topics so I am always engaged in the conversation instead of focusing on the words themselves.
-

Not only do they speak clearly and flawlessly, the topics they teach are always fascinating, up to date and explore everything from science, culture, travel, politics, art...etc. They even throw in modismos and phrases you would only learn if you grew up a native speaker.
