108

Welcome to The Psilocybin Chronicles! The Psilocybin Chronicles provides people with unique and meaningful conversations with the goal of educating about psilocybin's therapeutic use, it's societal impacts, and navigating the psychedelic experience. These discussions come straight from the inside of the current psychedelic renaissance, as we have been providing safe, legal access to psilocybin mushroom therapeutic use for years. We are joined by the guests and facilitators of our retreat center in Jamaica, MycoMeditations. As society begins to reintegrate psychedelics into our culture, join us as we explore transformative journeys and the valuable lessons that we can learn from psilocybin mushrooms.

    Why talk about Politics
I came to learn and take in information regarding how to improve my life and in the first podcast I listen to you talk politics. Really turned me off and I am sure others will agree. You claim to be all about helping and then in the first 3 minutes it is all about a very divisive subject. Why would anyone want to listen to you?

    Love this podcast!
Thank you so much for this authentic podcast that’s filled with real-life journeys. Hearing these accountings from your guests is making a big difference in my life. I also really appreciate your skillful interviewing and the way you let your guests talk in their own time and space. It’s refreshing and much appreciated. Please bring some new episodes! 💗🍄‍🟫✨

    meh
On the plus side: There is SOME decent information you can herein glean on psil/shrooms. Also this guy really seems like a decent, trustworthy chap. But he's also a self-promoter. I mean i guess he is (was?) making a living getting people to fly to Jamaica and do mushrooms with him. Good work if you can get it. There's a lot of nebulous woo-woo stuff here. Lot of feelings and emotions and navel-gazing. And references to disputes with others in the "psychedelic community." (Personally, I don't want to join any club that would have me as a member.) Also the sycophancy to female guests is at times a bit nauseating. I kept wishing for an episode on the more "nuts & bolts" stuff... procurement, SPECIFICS on set/setting & dosage, tips on preparation/ingesting, and maybe even some scientific stuff. But that ain't what this pod's about. And I don't really mean to knock it, I see the reviews & I see a lot of folks got something out of this pod, so I should just shut up & sum it up by saying after (skim-)listening to 10-15 eps, it just wasn't for me. Individual experiences may vary.

    Bring the Podcast Back
I hate that there aren’t any recent episodes. Hearing individual’s experiences with psilocybin has opened my eyes to the fact that there is something out there to help with a lifetime of anxiety and depression. I hope I get to explore the experience in the near future. Eric you did a great job with the podcast and the format!! Best wishes!! 🍄

    Really low level stuff
One cliche after another. Not much meat here.

Great content, but volume issues makes it hard to listen to.
I really want to give this podcast 5 stars, but the fluctuating volume makes it difficult to listen to. Content is interesting and useful though.

    Love this podcast so much!
Super informative and just love listening to Eric’s voice 🤣 definitely my current fave. I struggle with mental health and Oregon just legalize psilocybin for therapeutic use! 2 years cannot come soon enough.

MycoMeditations and the Psilocybin Chronicles are game changers
I’ll admit that I attended a retreat at MycoMeditations prior to ever hearing the podcast, so perhaps I’m biased, but this is a must-listen for anyone interested in the psychedelic renaissance, mental health, healing, or just curious about a niche world that’s gonna change the world. Eric is a great guy and a great interviewer; I love hearing all these stories of healing and change. Thank you to everyone at Myco for everything - my world is forever changed because of you.

    Life-Changing
I can honestly and wholeheartedly say that MycoMeditations is the real deal. I could not have picked a better place/better people to entrust with my mind, heart, body, and wallet. From day one, I felt safe, accepted and in good hands. The very best of hands. In addition, I felt loved, not in a weird or superficial way, but authentically. The MycoMeditations Team is kind, knowledgeable, reverent, trustworthy and caring. The team and the group (other participants) became a sort of holding environment where it was safe to explore, it was safe to be vulnerable, it was safe to “let go”. This dynamic cannot be understated in its power to transform and heal. I had more fun, felt more connected and learned more about myself and the nature of reality and love in one week than in my entire life previous to this experience. It was so refreshing and empowering and transformational. The MM facilitators are experts at holding space (a term I used to roll my eyes at, having not understood its meaning before) and radiating loving energy. They were available and asked thoughtful and helpful questions without even the slightest air of pushiness, condescension or judgement. In this environment, and with the help of psilocybin, I was safe and free to explore my own mind and reality and life and love; and the walls I’d so carefully constructed for decades could and did come down. By the end of the week, I felt more alive, connected, loved, and free than I can remember since being a small child. Attending a MycoMeditations retreat is the perfect prescription for anyone searching, seeking, who feels disconnected, who senses there’s more to this life than what western society offers, for anyone who’s come up against a wall or hit a plateau and doesn’t know the way out (it’s through!) I fully trust Eric and his team and am eternally grateful to them for the love and support they offered and the difference this experience has made in my life!
