    There’s still hope
This podcast is wonderful, I’m so grateful with every single woman that share their story with so much honesty. I found it maybe a couple of days after my miscarriage, at that time I was feeling like the most unfortunate woman in the world, like if nature has been playing with me all this time to utterly take everything away from me. But after a couple of episode I even feel fortunate and with a sense of hope. This wasn’t the end of the road for me it certainly won’t be yours. Blessings

    Finding hope through community
This podcast (and community) has helped me feel that I’m not alone. I’ve had 3 miscarriage and am working through secondary infertility. These stories and the community that has been built shines light on a time that would otherwise feel very lonely. THANK YOU Shelly!!

    Only thing that help me
I went through 2 back to back miscarriages in 2019. The only thing that really helped me heal was this podcast. When you go through a miscarriage, you feel so bad in this dark, cold and isolating place in your mind. Hearing other people’s stories helped me feel not alone, and gave me hope for in fertility journey. I also met some awesome chicks on their Instagram whose stories were remarkably similar to mine. Thank you LAMFAM for helping me during my darkest year. ❤️

    Overall good
Suffering 2 miscarriages I’ve found this helpful and comforting. I wish the host would dial it down a bit with her energy though. It can be very overpowering to whomever the guest is.

    Relate
This podcast makes me feel real and not alone. It’s nice to know how everyone handles these situations. I love the episode where they discuss the way their husbands handled this vs the women. I was so frustrated with my husband and how he handled our miscarriage but it was just his way of coping.

    Grief and healing...
Grieving your baby or babies after miscarriage is hard. You feel alone. You feel beaten down—like nobody wants to acknowledge your pain. Listening to this podcast for over a year now while grieving and healing from my two miscarriages has been crucial to remember I’m not alone. Thank you, Shelly for your time and effort in this. Thank you to all the women who open up and share! Your voices are heard, and you have helped me, and so many others. ❤️

    Healing
This podcast has been part of my healing process. Life after miscarriage is HARD, it takes a toll on you mentally and physically. It is not a club we wanted to join but somehow found each other’s stories here and can relate. Thank you all for your bravery because sharing these type of stories is hard. Much love!

    Healing
Aside from the comfort and support I’ve received from my partner after our miscarriage, this podcast has been the most healing part of my MC journey. It’s relieved me from that dreaded “alone” feeling.

Extremely helpful when going through a dark place.
As a recommendation from a friend, who said she listened to podcasts - I stumbled upon this one. Thank God I found it. This was/is my worst period of my life and during the darkest of times where I didn’t think I could do anything, listening to these women’s stories helped me. Helped me understand that what I was going through was normal. Helped me understand that what I was feeling was OK and alright and normal. I never knew it could happen, would happen or would feel like this. So so thankful for this podcast.

The only thing helping me through
I found out I have a blighted ovum at 7.5 weeks. 8 days later and I am still waiting for it to pass. Failed Misoprostil twice and now waiting for a D and C. Hearing everyone’s stories is the only thing getting me through these days. Thank you for making this podcast

    So helpful!
This podcast is helping me get through my own miscarriage. It’s comforting to hear other women talk about their stories because it makes me feel less alone. Some of them are saying the exact same things I have said.

    I love this
Seriously these got me through my miscarriage and I suggest to everyone going through it. My friends and I always send each other ones to listen to, they are so relatable and I love hearing about everyone’s angels. I also love the Facebook group and Instagram page for meeting other mamas who can relate.

    Love!
I found this podcast when I first found out I was going to miscarry. All of the stories have been both relatable and heartbreaking. Miscarriage is a terribly isolating experience, but this podcast really helps me to feel connected to other women that know what it’s like. Thank you for helping me feel less alone.

    therapy.
I stumbled upon this podcast very shortly after our loss in Sept 2019. I have since listened to EVERY episode, connected with a few women, and became stronger. I had the amazing opportunity to be a guest and I will be forever thankful for that. it gave me a platform to speak my truth, tell my story and be bold. thank you so much for everything you do for us women daily.

    So therapeutic!
I can’t tell you how happy I am that I stumbled across this podcast. After my second loss in August I was so lost. Needing to talk to someone or listen to anything that could educate me on what I was going through and validate my feelings. I searched miscarriage on my podcast app and came across LAMFAM. I started listening and was immediately hooked. I have since listened to and from work everyday since. Shelly has a great sense of humor, much similar to mine. I feel like I can relate to her, actually to all of the women. We are part of this family that we actually wish we didn’t have to be a part of...but if we are the chosen ones at least we have this podcast to help get us through. I was able to share my story one week ago. It was so therapeutic and healing for me. I am excited for it to air so I can hopefully help others as these ladies have helped me. Don’t hesitate to listen. Even if you are spouse, family, friend to someone going through this. It will educate you on how you can help your loved one.

    Amazing podcast!
After my miscarriage I found this podcast and it was beyond helpful! The LAM community makes you feel like you are not alone in this journey! Hearing others stories was therapeutic for me! I never thought I would have a miscarriage, but after hearing everyone’s stories you realize that this happens more frequently than most know. The grieving process after a miscarriage takes time and no two people grieve the same way! This podcast shows the raw stories of others. Thank you so much Shelly for putting this podcast out!

    Amazing community, support
This podcast was my go-to after my first miscarriage, when I wasn’t ready to open up to friends and family but needed to feel less alone. It became my place of support and comfort until I was ready to share my story. After 2 more miscarriages, I learned so much about testing/possible causes from it that I used to advocate for myself. I then ended up sharing my own story to try to help others the way it helped me. Shelly is incredible and this podcast is changing lives. ❤️

    Therapeutic and encouraging
As a obstetric PA, I really value this podcast as a way to understand the experience of miscarriage from the perspective of my patients. Also, as a woman who has experienced miscarriage personally, I found listening to this podcast to be therapeutic and relatable during my loss. Knowing that we are not alone makes all the difference. Miscarriage is just so common and I love that women are talking about this more. Keep up the good work!

    Brings Hope & Courage
This podcast is so amazing and helped me so much through my 2 miscarriages. Shelly is so down to earth and relatable. I was able to work up the courage to tell my story on this podcast thanks to Shelly and the other women telling their stories so fearlessly. I am so thankful to all these brave gals ❤️. It brings awareness and support to others that have gone through this heartbreak to know they are not alone and there is hope.

Some loving feedback from a faithful follower
Miscarriage is so abstract and isolating, this is a much-needed space for us all to come together, support each other, and shatter the stigma! I've been binging on episodes since I found this podcast, especially while going through my recent 3rd miscarriage. Shelly has a gift for making conversation around this taboo topic seem normal and has great energy. I do feel like she sometimes interrupts or talks over her guests, leaving me wondering what value we are missing from the guest when she is interrupted. I would love Shelly to do an episode sharing the details of her own story that she can refer back to for new listeners so she doesn't have to feel like she has to start over in explaining her story each time she relates to a guest. I've also caught a few "at least" statements and Shelly promising guests they'll have a baby someday, both of which I personally find triggering and I'm sure other LAMFAM members do as well. Of course, it's impossible to avoid all triggers for everyone when it comes to losing our babies, but I do think these "fix it" statements are best to avoid, even from someone who understands it. I know this is a fairly new podcast, and I do think Shelly is the absolute right person for the job! She has a passion and is not afraid to talk about the tough stuff, which is exactly what we LAMFAM need! Definitely have a listen. You just might hear a story similar to yours.
