Is this the best aural experience available on the Internet?
Possibly. I mean, who can say? But KVGM is just about the smoothest thing that has ever slid into these two ear holes. And that's saying something! Get ready for the chillest VGM deep cuts, peppered with the most rhetorical of questions posed by the mellowest of hosts.

    Super cool
A lot of obscure hidden gems in this for VGM, really underrated. Discovering this almost feels like finding a secret room in a video game.

    Can‘t go wrong.
Always a good listen, whether you’re home on a Sunday morning, or driving down the coast.

    Chillest and Illest
We love VGM of different stripes, but let’s face it 99% of the time we want the chill stuff. This is a great channel to run in the background while getting things done. Thanks, KVGM.

The Best VGM Podcast on the Planet
Hammock hits all my T spots, from the hilarious commentary to the silky smooth VGM jams. I look forward to listening to this podcast every week, and the amount of deep cuts and hidden gems in Hammock's selections are incredible! Even my friends who don't like video game music can't help but jam out to the Last Wave on KVGM.

    Pixel Beach Dreamy
Hammock touches on all the right vibes, seemingly not a stranger to eclectic sounds. The Last Wave is stimulating easy listening like working a long day outside on a beautiful high alpine lake, taking some moments of repite to enjoy the lapping water. Wholesome. I love the way Hammock blends fresh foreign jazz and hip hop tracks with 8 bit tunes that take me back to my childhood play throughs Donkey Kong Country on the SNES. The Last Wave is a good one to ride.

    The best of the best
A podcast that is somehow entirely crafted to suit my tastes. I love video game music, I love chill vibes, and I love podcast hosts that exude positivity, and let me tell you, Hammock delivers all of the above on KVGM The Last Wave in spades. I’m so grateful for the labor of love that goes into each and every episode. Thank you!

    Calms My Anxiety
KVGM The Last Wave helps calm my anxiety. As an adult, life can get stressful. Sometimes, I like to get away from it all and this podcast helps with that. Hammock , the podcast host, collects smooth video game music from any game out there and puts it together for you to enjoy. He's got a great ear for smooth music! The other thing I enjoy about the podcast is the host website at blogspot.com. On that site, Hammock has an archive of all the previous episodes with track listings that I use to build my own playlist of my favorites from the show. I highly reccomend this podcast if you like video game music and you want to banish those anxious feelings.

A Smooth Drive Down Sunset Blvd.
Do yourself quite a favor and check out this cast. As a long time dedicated listener to the Legacy Music Hour, I have been hesitant to branch out into other VGM casts. Brent mentioned this cast and it’s focus on the smooth and jazzy side of VGM and I was like “oh ok, now I think I must check this one out”. I’m glad I did! The music selection is always consistently smooth and easy, giving me something to look forward to on that otherwise dreaded drive to work on a Monday morn. Thanks, and see you in Aqua City Island

VGM So Smooth You Won’t Turn the Dial!
Long time listener, first time caller (reviewer). Each week, I am once again impressed by the selection of smooth VGM jams. This radio show is good. Really good. Kick back, relax, and enjoy! I know I do and will!!

    Inaccurate Title.
I’m sorry, this podcast should be called “The Best Wave”. Venerable VGMDJ Hammock spins the smoothest, bonkest jams to be found on the intertubes, not to mention that cool, effortless gift of gab he spryly intersperses between tracks. Grab yourself an Arnold Palmtree and hammock up; because the sun is setting over the Pacific and it’s time to chill.

The podcast you’ve been waiting for
I know what you’re thinking: you think you’ve heard every podcast in this genre and they’re all basically the same. Well, I have news for you! (Also, you have one rotten attitude, mister.) This podcast sets itself apart from the pack because it isn’t afraid to ask the tough questions, like “How much body hair is too much?” And “Is my unusually thick body hair hampering my advancement in the workplace?” As someone with a staggeringly heavy man pelt, I look forward to each new episode this podcast has to offer, as it helps me decide what and when to shave and for what occasion. I’m no longer ashamed, and I have Lenny and Pete to thank for daring to go where no other body hair-focused podcast was willing to go. Cheers!

    Chill VGM at its finest
Hammock has got smooth tunes rolling in bunches. Sit back, relax, and enjoy your outrun through the coasts of the world's finest beaches. Best VGM show out there.

Best VGM not on the Radio
Love this show! Found this after episode with Rhythym and Pixels. I would totally stay up late and listen to this show on XRAY.FM if were broadcast on it. Any way to just send them recordings like these and run em? Love these tunes!
