DroolpTop quality contentThank you Davy for all your work in researching and sharing ultra running history. This show has brought me to a deeper appreciation of the sport. As well, it has sparked my curiosity and love for learning! The podcast is entertaining, stranger than fiction at points, funny… the show takes it’s history seriously but can laugh at itself. I love this podcast.

JDog1779Very enjoyable podcastAs a big trail and ultra running fan, this podcast has given me great perspective and insight into the real early days of ultra running and all of the wacky and crazy stories to go along with it.

fpoonlineLove the info, not the styleI deeply appreciate the content, fact-checking, and historical context. The style -- Davy acting out the voices; constant sound clips (applause, laughter, animals, etc.) feels hokey, distracting, and unprofessional to me. I can see why younger runnners in particular aren't listening to this podcast much. It's a shame; as far as I know, there's no other comparable source of info. Thanks so much for your efforts!

Loren&MonikeOOWeston The WalkerI first read about Edward Payson Weston in a Reader’s Digest book called “Eat Better, Live Better” as a child. It has a section dedicated to exercise and an article called “Weston the Walker.” In my teens through my 30s I would walk and run for hours on end any time that I could. I never measured the distance, only the time. I began a new career in my 40s that made walking and running, (alone with eating, sleeping and all the other necessities of life) increasingly difficult. Now I am approaching 49 (50!) and realize more than ever the importance of health and fitness! I have begun walking and running daily again and plan to gradually increase my distances. I started at 10,000 steps and 1 mile run. I listen to your podcast while I walk and run! Thank You!!!

Andy Noise ExperienceWould be 5 if....Love the history but wish there was a history only version without the intro or the special effects. Seems like a lot of work that only distracts from the story.
