    So Much Fun!
These guys are great together. The insider stuff is exciting, the interviews are big time and more importantly to me, they are hilarious! Thanks for the entertainment news and many thanks for the entertainment!

Condescending and Negative. EW has fallen.
Used to love EW but this The Oscar prediction episode was insufferable. the hate the predictor showed Oppenheimer was overkill. The most baffling was the editing comment. Don’t care for haters making predictions. Unsubscribed

    Great entertainment Podcast
This podcast is consistently good, with interesting and unique perspectives, a must listen during awards season.

    Wrong!
Matthew McConaughey did NOT play a gay man to win his Oscar!!!!! He played a straight man with AIDS!!!!!

    5 Stars!
I’ve loved Entertainment Weekly, the magazine, forever. This podcast is like my favorite section of the magazine has come alive. Highly recommend for witty banter, deep insight and great interviews.

Good Awards season podcast, loved your Emmys coverage from last season & this seasons Oscars race, only criticism is Joey Nolfi, he thinks he’s funny with his constant penguin Bloom mentions buts it’s just anoying $ wasn’t funny after the second mention

    Not happy
Just listened to your bonus episode and was really enjoying it until the anti Semitic comment by one of the women that was just laughed at by the rest of the group.
  • ChicagoKevin81
What is the point of this show?
Their racist bonus episode is simply too much. A group of black women attacking other races and bragging about how they discriminate against others that don’t fit into their narrow view of who should be better represented in Hollywood.

    Incredible guests and inside scoop!
EW’s access to Hollywood’s biggest stars is amazing and unparalleled. I love learning about behind the scenes moments from my favorite TV shows and movies and this season leading up to the Emmys is the best one yet. The Nicole Kidman episode was by far my favorite. Keep it coming EW! Bravo!

    The Awardist, Ted Danson
I found the audio to be fine. It was easy to listen to with headphones or without. I like the hosts’ intro to which shows are coming up for possible awards and which ones have won in the past. Ditto, the trivia quiz. I can’t watch every series that comes out so it gave me a few ideas and confirmed some others. Liked the approach. Danson was Danson and the host worked to get a nugget. Rating: Like a nice sorbet

You have got to be kidding.
“This episode was filmed while we were in quarantine, and prior to current world events.” ........... Excuse me? “Current world events” ??????? You can’t even say the word protest? Can’t mention George Floyd or Breonna Taylor? Can’t even say their names? Won’t even ACKNOWLEDGE that we’re in the middle of a civil rights uprising, especially when reporting on a Lin industry that for centuries (including in the past few weeks) has been publicly called out for its systemic racism against creators & performers of color? I understand that this is an entertainment show. But I listen to plenty of entertainment & pop culture podcasts hosted by white people that have taken the time during an episode (or even recorded an addendum to add to the beginning of a previously recorded episode) to at the very last MENTION police brutality, condemn racism, suggest resources & places to donate, or at least make it clear that they give a **** about their black listeners. Clearly that’s too much to ask from EW. So I won’t ask, I’ll just unsubscribe.

    Please be objective
It’s a shame that I can hear a show, and despite a very professional podcast presentation, get a solid amount of bias and agenda shoved down my throat. I accept that much of Hollywood is incredibly self important, and I still love the work and the art. Perhaps you can take a more even handed approach in the presentation before you lean in a specific direction. It’s unfortunately obvious.

Confused why the audio on the podcast is so terrible? Would assume they have access to professional equipment, but it sounds like it's being recorded on someone's phone. Interested in the content but it's so hard to listen to.

    A Step Up
I liked this podcast okay during last year's Oscar season, but the quality of discussion and interview for this year is a major step up. Possibly even a set up 2 the streets!

Good show, but, my god, please stop saying “OF IT ALL” every five seconds.

    Poor audio quality
The content and interviews are good, but the audio quality is very disappointing. Uneven sound levels, difficult to understand voices, etc.

No Chemistry& the British girl is TERRIBLE!!!
I have been a subscriber of EW for 9 years! And these two woman have no chemistry they talk over each other all the time! The British girl makes everything political & NOT what is the best picture actually she wants to go on a 20 min rant about Black Panther! When it’s a good film but it has nothing on Infinity War! I’m so tired of ppl talking about Black Panther when they have probably never seen even close to the 19 films that marvel has made & how so many have been overlooked but then BP comes out & there like OMG it’s incredible when BO is in Infinity War & they use over 23 super hero’s in that film perfectly with a painful blinding ending and it gets ignored! She needs to just be quite! The British girl repeats herself constantly and doesn’t want to let anyone else talk! I’m a gay man! So I’m not some troll woman hater! Like this is just truly terrible podcast with no format it’s just all over the place! If u want to b called a racist for an hour every week! Be my guest listen! Otherwise don’t waste ur time! Listen to any of EW other podcasts or Empire Podcast or Pilot Tv Podcast! U want ppl to listen to that u feel are not full of themselves and are funny and these two girls think there the best ever!

    The Outlander
This is one of the best series in a long time. Not even an acknowledgement such a pity for the brilliant actors and actresses 🌟

    A TV Buff’s Best Friend
Three episodes in and I’m hooked to this fascinating podcast that takes a deep dive into the current events happening within the television industry. The three hosts' unique, varying critiques of today’s hit series’ makes the show a must for those who may not have many people to rant/rave with about this 2018 season of Television. As a TV major in college it’s both thought-provoking and inspiring to get different perspectives on what makes a show or performance successful and entertaining. Especially during Emmys season, this is a must!

Need better audio quality for interviews
I like the podcast, but I wish the audio quality of the interview segments was better. Hard to understand Hailey atwell on the phone. Maybe her British accent made it worse.

    Great Supplement to the Magazine
For fans of EW magazine, this is the perfect succinct supplement. This podcast focuses on the Emmy Awards season with each episode featuring an award category with discussions and predictions about this year's nominees and potential winners. They go back and talk about past winners and trends as well. I like the coverage of all shows, not just what I watch. Each episode ends with an interview with an actor they predict to win.

    Great info
I’ve been reading Entertainment Weekly for over 20 years. It’s the only magazine I keep subscribing to. This podcast is a great extension of ET chock full of extras. Every once in a while misinformation is given out, but usually is corrected by the next episode (on that note I believe that besides Candace Bergen taking her name off the Nominating ballot after 5 wins, John Larroquette also took his name off after 4 consecutive wins). Hoping there will be extra episodes when the Emmy nominations are announced- and maybe even a Chasing Oscar podcast at the end of the year!

    Flat
I love the idea and the guests and content but some of the hosts feel a little lifeless. And the group chemistry is lacking. The interview with Jeffrey Wright... He was so well spoken and charismatic but the interviewer had very little emotion like she was just reading... no range whatsoever. When he cracked a joke it was so uncomfortable, he even paused for a reaction and silence. That actually happened several times. He’s being funny... LAUGH. It was just very painful to listen to.

Listen, but know what to expect
Not a lot of chemistry among the three hosts, but if you’re really into TV trivia and the Emmys, this is worth checking out. Also, the hosts’ viewing habits definitely trend toward more popular shows (none of them has seen The Americans, which has a small but faithful following, along with some Emmy clout).
  • Slow Bad Romance
    Uneven sound
The hosts sound levels are wildly different. I can barely hear one and the other sounds like he’s screaming. I don’t know much about podcasts, but I imagine there is a way to even out the level of sound.
  • Ar0rp5
    Really enjoyed....but....
What about Outlander? The actors are passed over & they do a fabulous job!

    Chasing Emmy
A decent podcast, but it is difficult to listen to a television “expert” that has never seen an episode of Andy Griffith.
