    Thorough and Useful
This is such a great podcast! I appreciate the wealth of knowledge, the special guests, and the host’s ability to distill ancient wisdom down to understandable information. Great job, Colette!

    Thank you
Colettes podcasts are so informative. I have been practicing Ayurveda for nearly 4 years and have received education from various sources in other podcasts. Nothing compares to Colettes presentation, intellect, knowledge and the breath of her guests. I listen every day and look forward to more and more episodes.

    became too political, too often
A favorite podcast I’ve always looked forward to. I’ve have listened to all of the back episodes. I agree with Colette (and Amy’s) politics, just don’t want to hear it in an Ayurveda podcast. I go to my Ayurveda podcasts as a refuge from my political podcasts, not to hear more of it. If you skip certain episodes (with hardly any mention of Ayurveda) it’s brilliant, inspirational and filled with Ayurveda advice.

    Great listen.
A great reference I never fail to visit daily to keep me grounded. I especially love the breakdowns into bite sized pieces as well as the great conversations with Amy Wheeler. A podcast I go back to time and time again!

A great resource for learning about Ayurveda
Really good, accurate Information presented in a balanced way by the host. Colette and her knowledgeable guests focus on a variety of topics in a manner that is interesting and useful for both the neophyte as well as the more advanced student of Ayurveda.
  • Passe0rdi1
    A lots of good information.
However, giving 3 starts because of the politics. In my opinion politics don’t belong to yoga or Ayurveda.

    Thank you Colette!
I am new to Ayurveda and this podcast has been my constant companion over the last month. Whenever I am on the go and able to listen, this podcast is so helpful for making Ayurveda feel so approachable and helps keep me informed and inspired to make positive changes in my life. I especially enjoyed the episode on Prana, Tejas, and Ojas. Colette gives an excellent explanation of these subtle energies. Thank you Colette for your good work and of course all of your wonderful guests!

Lovely & thoughtful sharing of knowledge
I’m new to Ayurveda this year & it is extremely helpful to hear a lot of these terms rather than read them. As an audible learner I also really appreciate the opportunity to learn with Collette in these free form.

    Keep it coming!
This podcast was my maiden voyage into podcast listening a few months ago. As a certified Yoga Ayurveda Specialist I have a general knowledge of this area of interest. I currently work at another discipline and time constraints prevent me from fully delving into using my knowledge as I would prefer. Listening to Collette Kent and her guests, particularly Amy Wheeler keeps me in the Ayurvedic loop, reminding me how to live simply, holistically and for my health. Collette’s gentle voice and direct approach in relating information lulls me to sleep most nights and has kept me company in the morning as I’ve prepared to face the challenges of the day. I am able to interlace the information she presents in my delivery of therapeutic service throughout the day, extending wellness to the populations I counsel. I’ve tried several other podcasts since beginning with this one, and I always seem to venture back to Collette’s archives for inspiration. There is very little collateral chatter about personal information, or obscure topics that don’t apply to the nature of the podcast, therefore this show holds my very fragmented interest for the duration of each presentation. I listen to Collette and Amy repeatedly and hope to explore Amy’s Yoga Therapy program soon as a way to further specialization in bringing holistic wellness to the communities I’m privileged to serve. Keep it coming Collette, you are reaching multiples through the few who currently subscribe.

Thank you for sharing Ayurveda to the world in this format! Without ever meeting you in person, you have still become one of my mentors on my journey to being a Ayurvedic Health Coach! The way you break down the terminology and practice into practical easy to understand way is amazing!! Thank you so much!

I am new to the podcast but have quickly become a huge fa. I’ve listened to nearly all of the episodes in a matter of 2 weeks. If you’re interested in doing things in a positive, inclusive, holistic way... this is the podcast for you.

    Such a valuable podcast!
I stumbled upon this show and I’m so glad I did. It’s full of useful and interesting information for living a healthier life. I especially enjoyed the episode about avoiding spring sickness! I’ll be a regular listener!

    Interesting and Inspiring
Colette presensts an interesting take on this subject. I'm not someone who would normally listen to this but it was something I found in a group and I am trying to eat better and manage stress better. I listened to the What do I Eat episode and Stress and Burnout episode and WOW. Not something I've been exposed to in the past but this was very helpful and something I'll be trying to learn more about. If you want to improve your health and wellness this podcast is something I'd highly recommend.

    You've Got a Fan!
As someone who is as equally as confused with Ayurveda and some of the other holistic methods out there, I'm so glad I stumbled upon the episode of what to eat to balance out your doshas. Easy to understand explainations and can't wait to dig into the other episodes!
  • MartyMar22
    Brand new to this
New to this but I’m a fan of yoga! Your voice is very soothing and I’m excited to learn more. Tuning into our body and balancing our lives through nature and discipline with Ayurveda. Can’t wait to learn more about my individual blueprint.

    Delightfully informative
Every episode has been filled with a wealth of useful information. I love learning about Ayurveda from Colette. She really dives deep into each week’s topic and has sparked my own interest in Ayurveda. I feel like the more I listen, the harder it is to go back to the way I used to do things whether it’s dealing with stress or even just eating breakfast. Great job!
  • chiragnd
    Love
It’s almost sad there isn’t more done about spreading Ayurveda especially from India frankly so was really glad to catch this podcast. Started with the stress & burnout episode and was great as well as super practical — which tends to be a problem because sometimes you’ll get advice from the ‘books’ that is just not practical in today’s day & age. Listening to them share their tips where it wasn’t cut everything down but about better management of stress, tips & tricks as well as simple things such as (home-cooked) food, sleeping better in a fast paced life. Thanks guys!

    Great intro to Ayurveda
I didn't know anything about Ayurveda before this show and learned a lot from listening. I like how Colette ties the practice of Ayurveda to different aspects of life and the modern world, like in her episodes about empowering women and balancing feminine and masculine energy. Great listen for anyone looking to learn something new or find balance in their lives.

    Beautiful Pod
I love this show. Colette has a wonderful way of explaining and teaching that makes me want to lean more.

    Fresh and informative
Fresh and informative take on ayurvedic medicine. As a Western medicine practitioner, it's great to learn more about Eastern, natural and alternative methods. I think healthcare requires more of a balance these days and I learned a lot from the introduction episode - which I recommend listening to first. Thanks for the suggestion to start there Colette. Recommend for anyone struggling to find balance among a world of possible answers, give this a whirl.

    Very valuable information!
This podcast could not have been further from my fields of interests but I've been trying new things and found this fascinating and very useful. I had some appreciation for spices and their holistic qualities but Elements of Ayurveda laid everyting out in a very clear and engaging way that I found useful for health, flavor and well being. Really great, well produced podcast!
  • JewishDave
    Fascinating
This show is quite fascinating. It's cool to hear about all of these other practices that are related to yoga. My only criticism would be to work on the audio mix (and silence your computer notifications haha, but I forget sometimes too😂). Definitely gonna share this show with my girlfriend who I know will love it!
  • kallie lou
    so interesting.
You’re interviews feel like a genuine conversation rather than an interview. This really taught me a lot about Ayurveda. I’m excited to listen to more!
  • Charlesd18
    Great guests and insightful teachings
Really enjoyed your conversation with Marisa. Especially liked her quote on how humans are made up of the Earth. Also loves the metaphor for the eagle as it applies to not getting wrapped up in the small things by looking at things from atop. Learned new things and enjoyed every minute of it.

Didn’t think it was for me, but I was wrong
This may not sound like a positive review...but stick with me. The name gave me stress because I didn’t know how to pronounce it. The first few minutes my stress grew as I heard terms I was unfamiliar with. Sadly I was driving while listening and unable to Google them. I stopped thinking and started listening..and I was happy. I don’t plan on changing my life...I am pretty happy with me most days...but the conversation was calming and I enjoyed the kindness and peaceful nature of both woman. Thanks for the fun hour. I will be back.

Grateful for an Amazing, Informative Ayurveda Podcast!!
Colette thank you for making it easy to learn on the go with all your podcast on Ayurveda. Tapping into companies that hold a high standard for herbs such as Banyan Botanicals, one of my favorite companies to support! I am so excited when I get a notification for a new podcast of yours! I am about to study at the California College of Ayurveda and become a practitioner myself. You have no idea how grateful I am to have your podcast!!! Thank you!! Jess :)
