Me x 7Abandoned StoryMight be a 3-4 star as the story is decent, if sometimes wandering and unclear. The abandoned story loses another star. So fair warning this in NOT complete.

TfayterSo-soConcept is interesting and acting is okay - both actresses who play Reva Luther are terrible so it’d be better without them. They’re classic overactors. Rest is okay. Sound quality got a lot better over the episodes.

jesspurseSound awfulI listened to this in my car. The volume on the first few supplemental episodes and the minisodes was so low that they were unintelligible, even with my cars volume and the phone volume both set as high as possible. Same with the “taped” voices. I’m fairly certain I’ve missed something important, but I’ve no idea what. Concept is interesting, and the voice acting - what I could hear - was great.

lrose20Completely immersiveThis is one of my absolute favorite podcasts out there. If games like Dear Esther or Firewatch appeal to you, consider this an audio format of the same genre. It’s confusing in the best of ways, the music is gorgeous and the voice acting perfect. I can’t wait to start listening to season two!

ESL11This just went off the railsI had a difficult time with this one...I listened to all 10 episodes, but it seems the concept isn't really written for a podcast. This needs visual, as I am still not entirely sure what the hell happened in the end.

BeastwulfGreat story; Wonderful voicesI thoroughly enjoyed it. Successive points of view added depth without bogging down. The voice acting was fantastic, and Dr. Quam, Nellie, and Santiago were so engaging—I would have kept listening just to hear their voices. The audio design kept an air of mystery, while establishing enough conventions to cue into who was taping to preserve context. Finally, the direction kept the pacing crisp and maintained a nice balance between the emotional story, the thriller, and weird fiction. A hearty round of applause to all.

Ty GrunowOverproducedThis is so over produce it is impossible to hear anything. Just when you start to figure out what’s going on there is an extended period of fuzzy audio to give the impression that the speaker is farther from the recorder. If you are driving this requires you to turn the volume up very loud and then there will be some other sound of the fact that blows your speakers. Had to give up after two episodes because of this.

AnoйNot comedy—better!Wow, really great construction of narrative, characterization, voice acting. Just really great. But also, I think misfiled under comedy? I didn’t listen at first because of that, but this is definitely a fantastic creepy story.

IzzaiahIncredibleSome of the best voice actors in the business, a compelling narrative, strange fiction meets science fiction, this podcast has it all. It can be kind of hard to follow, especially at first, but I am pretty sure what they are going for is that the alternate voice for the lead character is a monologue, or what she is thinking. I really like how they attempted to do this, it adds another layer to the format.

FishboniusGreatness with a good creepy factor.Voice acting, characters, writing, sound = all good. The story / plot is very original. I’m on ep. 10 and definitely want more. The familiar voices from W359 made it fun for me too.

kdimercWonderfully DarkI love seeing all of these smart characters dealing with such a dark and creepy situation. Can’t wait to see where this story goes!

ShoMarqI am unnerved. This is a lushly unnerving audio drama with fantastic production and scene-setting and on-point voice actors the whole way through. This plot will keep you worried and nervous for these characters until the very end.

Wil | Podcast ProblemsBeautiful and upsettingStation to Station is a gorgeous, deeply unsettling horror audio drama. The production work is incredible, setting the scene and adding to the story without being intrusive. The writing is great, and the dialogue sounds genuine without being too quirky. The plot is dark, mysterious, and unsettling, which is perfectly offset by the charismatic and relatable characters.

OswinTheHumanBit hard to followInteresting premise, but a great show! Minus one star because so many of the voices sound so similar that half the time I’m not sure who I’m listening to, and given the fact that characters disappear, get forgotten, and/or get introduced in alternating flashbacks, knowing who’s talking is half the battle.

SaellysGripping from the startA tightly written mystery that has its own momentum from the very start. Consistently great voice talent keeps it gripping--there is usually a weak link in an ensemble, but that is not true of S2S.

ArchaomanInteresting and still listeningI’m enjoying it so far!!

YgraneVery Interesting Science MysteryThe audio diary of a phd student talking about her research, and her missing partner. Only two episodes in, but they're already jumping right into the meat of the mystery and I love that.
