    BINGE WORTHY
I can not believe this podcast only comes about once a year! This is such a cute romcom and I couldn’t help but binge this phenomenal podcast! Hope to hear more quarantine podcasts before the holiday episodes drop.

    Wow!
I love this podcast so much! It is heartwarming and adorable and all the characters are so loveable. Honestly one of the best podcasts I’ve heard in a while!

    Loud & Fast
Loud, fast-paced romantic slapstick holiday comedy. It’s a lot of ENERGY and screeching for the podcast medium; better over speakers than through earphones. It’s also super cute. I’m very torn on this one.

    Amazing
There really aren’t that many romantic comedy podcasts and this one is really really good. It keeps you listening episode after episode. I actually listen to it while doing repetitive tasks at work 😂😂

    Fantastic!
Great story and lovable characters. This is one of my FAVORITE podcasts. It’s worth a listen and a re-listen.

    Hilarious and Hallmark-esque, but Naughtier!
I’ll be listening again when I decorate/bake/prepare for the holidays. Excellent sound, plot, and writing - a very self-aware comedy. Would love more from them!

My go-to whenever I'm feeling blue
I wish there were more romantic comedy podcasts out there - but if there's only a few, and Deck the Halls is one of them, I'm extremely content. This show is funny, charming, and finds smart ways to make the genre translate to an audio medium. I hope there are more seasons, but I am happy to just keep relistening to these various goobers find love and friendship over and over again.

    Rom-com for you ears!
We’re sort of late to the party here, but, goodness gracious, this show is the tippity-top of amazing audio drama content. It’s so smart, the sound design is amazing, the humor is on point, and most of all, it is unabashedly a rom-com for your ears. We’re obsessed and recommending it to everyone.

    Amazing!
I binged this podcast last year while at work and this year was no different. One of my absolute favs!

    Great scripted podcast!
It really has it all, great scripts, funny jokes, great acting, and fantastic sound effects! It’s too bad the new seasons are only once a year. Maybe the gang can have other holiday adventures like 4th of July!

    Overall good
First two seasons fantastic! This season struggling a little. Doesn’t have same chemistry and story telling as first two . Love the whole podcast though. Well worth listening

    So delightful!
This is SO charming, it’s impossible to listen to without feeling cheerful. I don’t usually listen to radio plays, but even compared to some of the fiction podcasts I’ve heard this one has especially great writing, acting, and production. I’ve been recommending it to my friends and adding that the actress who plays Lane in Gilmore Girls is in it—people who liked that show will definitely like this, as it has the same fast-paced wit, homespun quirk, and sweet friendships and flirting. The actors also do an excellent job (my previous experience with fiction podcasts are that they sound a lot more like script-reading) but the cast here is so sharp and funny. I really hope more people discover this, and that they keep making them each year!

    A pleasure!
Gearing up for this holiday season, I was delighted to hear that Jackie, Emma, and Stu would be back! I’ve enjoyed getting to know these humorously-written and performed characters over the past two years and I’m stoked to hear more in the postcard format.

    Exactly My Flavor
Listen, I knew I’d like it. I always knew. From the moment my BFF told me this was a RomCom set during the Holidays. I love Christmas and I love RomComs and I love Deck the Halls! I’m so glad I finally found the time to listen to the first episode and I know that anyone who reads this review won’t regret spending the time. I think we could all use some more radio plays in our lives.

    A fun romantic comedy
A madcap radio play in the style of classic romantic comedies. There are mistaken identities, engagement proposals, and all the silly shenanigans you could want.
  • alannathefox
    So fun!
This podcast is such a delight! Fun to hear a whole play in season 1 instead of different episodes. I was hooked! Loving season 2 as well!

    Audio Drama Reviews: Awesome Foley
"Without a doubt, this is one of the best sounding free podcast audio dramas out there. The foley work alone is deserving of every award out there. Right from the start, the foley artist uses everything and the kitchen sink to create an image of chaotic harmony in the opening scene. As for the actors and actresses, their voices are distinct from one another and you understand everyone’s role in the story early on. The writers throw you in the deep end with a wedding preparation scene involving turkeys, played by actual gobbling people. And, like the foley, it doesn’t come across as sounding fake, forced or unintentionally comedic. ..."

    A New Christmas Tradition
I discovered this podcast about a month ago and quickly binged last year's story, followed by just as quickly devouring this year's story. It's basically a Hallmark Christmas special, with better acting, funnier parts, and a better overall heartfelt romance. If the first five minutes of the first episode doesn't have you laughing out loud, you don't have a soul!
  • Nickname_MRK
    So much fun!
I've never really listened to this kind of podcast before and it was such a delight! I've always loved listening to old radio plays from the 30's and 40's but to hear something in that vein but being produced today is so much fun! Great throwback to an earlier era and wonderfully performed.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’m so happy that my love of Hallmark Christmas movies is well documented on twitter or I might never have been introduced to this amazing podcast!! Keep up the amazing work and please someday bring us podcast romcoms year round! You guys have a new fan :)

    LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
If you love LOVE ACTUALLY, BRIDGET JONES'S DIARY, or Janet Evanovich books, you'll love DECK THE HALLS. A great way to gear up for the holidays. And to remember that love, adventure, and fun exist in this crazy world! Plus, it's so well made and fun to listen on your commute or while washing up all those holiday dishes.

Just when I thought I couldn't love Christmas season more
Maybe I'm an easy Christmas target but you seriously couldn't find a better produced show. Everything from the writing, directing and acting was superb. Engaging, funny and full of love and fun. I can't wait for DTH 2!!!

    Always in Season!
My pick for #audiodramasunday this week is a little late for the season. It is @sassquachcomics Deck the Halls (with Matrimony!), written and directed by #AshleyPerrymanQuach. The Sonic Society played the first half in this weeks show episode 501. I became so invested in the story I had to go and listen to the rest; in full disclosure had been sitting in my podcast queue for awhile. My cynical brain was expecting it to be saccharine and predictable, but from the opening scene it had me hooked. It is a modern romantic comedy with a just a twist of the golden age of cinema. I'm thrilled to now a have another arrow in my quiver for when someone is looking for an #audiodrama that is not zombies or occult conspiracies. I only hope that @sassquachcomics has more projects brewing for the future.

    Deck the Halls
I usually don't listen to radio plays/dramas, but this one really surprised me. It was great from start to finish and is perfect for this time of year.
  • Dustinlmu
    Festive adorable fun
I can't remember the last time I listened to a proper radio play so this was a gosh darn delight. Ideal for for the season and best consumed with hot boozy eggnog in hand while cuddling someone you love on a cold December night.
