I was hopeful because I seek out opinions that counter the hype, but all I heard were contrarian takes for the sake of being different.

Another really boring, sometimes factually challenged, poorly produced podcast by somebody has little of substance to say.

Disappointed to see that the research by a data science podcast is not up to date. Lidar is no longer large racks. Lazr sells small lidars. NIO ev have small lidars.

Great overview and very easy to listen to. I always learn something new.

This podcast is so insightful and I’ve enjoyed every episode I’ve listened to so far! Francesco is a very skilled interviewer - he does such a great job of sharing his wisdom and I love how he leads meaningful conversations with industry leaders who bring so much experience and actionable insight to the table. Highly recommend checking this show out - you won’t be disappointed!

Good greatest

I have a BS in Computer Science. I've taken my share of math, including classes on statistics, graph theory, and optimization. I can barely keep up because my day job doesn't put me near this material. If I was working on my Masters in CS, this is great stuff. If I was trying to adapt existing projects to Big Data, this really helps me avoid some traps and pitfalls. It also helps me decode lingo from software vendors to find the liars. What it won't do is teach you Data Science. I'd get lost for hours if Francesco uploaded his script to his blog with links to projects, papers, and products. It is a very dense lecture though that pulls valuable experiences into one place. Between that and the great improvements to the production process, I'm going to keep listening and gleaning. In late 2019, Francesco turned the mic over to a friend with a soap box that rightly attacked recommender algorithms, but it stepped way far away from a technical, improvisational interview. Francesco has finally started to realize that ML is easily abused and I look forward to his leadership in guiding the ML industry in better methods to avoid traps imposed by data owners on their analysts.

This is so good

I am just beginning to learn this topic. Francesco covers it in a way I can understand most of the time. There was one episode that was completely over my head, but that's OK. His audience is made up of more than just beginners so he needs to present a wide range of topics so the show can appeal to everyone. And who knows, at some point, i'll be able to go back to that episode and understand it.

I was listening to the first podcast and everything seemed good. Then, out of nowhere, an *extremely* loud guitar riff blasted through my speakers, nearly sending my car off the road. This is not just annoying or obnoxious--this is dangerous. Immediately deleted and unsubscribed. I was hoping this was going to a great data science podcast, but apparently audio normalization and the listener's life is not a priority.

Excellent podcast... Easy, but not simple. Rich, but not overwhelming... This podcast will increase your knowledge and ability to see understand story behind numbers to apply on every day matters.

Very clear explanations of data science concepts.

Dr. Gadaleta describes data science and various advancements in it very well. His podcasts help me to understand issues and where to look for detailed information that, by nature cannot be covered in a podcast.
