LilSebastian79My go to MotoGP teamDavid, Neil and Steve do a great job brining us the people, technology and racing insights directly from reporting in the paddock. From racing analysis to breaking contract news and perspectives from important team players behind the riders, they always help me enjoy MotoGP at a deeper level than I would simply watching the races.
-
teんguFeel connected to the racesDon’t pay attention to these mean spirited comments. All the hosts are fantastic and add their own bit of personality. Listening helps me decompress a few days after a race.
-
CenzanoThey’ve gotten really hard to listen to.Someone tell Neil Morrison to stop inhaling through his teeth! Between having to listen to him on this podcast and during the races, he makes it very hard to tolerate him. Between that and the Marquez excuse machine, 2024 has made this a painful year to listen to this podcast. I’ve found myself rooting for Marc so they’ll shut up about why he can’t win. How about because he’s not good enough? I have to fast forward through parts of this podcast to get past their horrible coverage of Marquez’s inability to win.
-
alambert83The best!I was already a huge fan of David Emmett’s work at motomatters, I pretty much have him to thank for all my knowledge of MotoGP. Combine that with the silky smooth sounds of Neil Morrison and SBK guru Steve English and you have the Paddock Pass Podcast. Incredible insight and insider information from exerts (though they would probably be much more modest in their description of themselves) makes the racing and the season as a whole that much more intriguing. This is fantastic stuff, if you’re a bike racing fan this should be at the top of your list. My one critique? I wish it was WAYYY longer, an hour isn’t enough for me, could listen to this all day!
-
E_A_BSteve and the boys! The absolute best MC racing pod out there (maybe given exception to Jason and GDub!) . I get pretty sick of the other podcasts constantly whining about this or that, some don’t feel like they’re true racers or racing fans at all.. not this crew! Steve E and crew provide great insight, tons of experience in the paddock, and are just genuinely entertaining to listen to. 👏
-
-listener #9BrilliantImpeccable knowledge good camaraderie fun personalities Tip top motorcycle racing podcast, and not to mention, just amazing accents!
-
hikingcoachInside full and funI listen to about five race podcasts and this one has become my favorite. The insights that are given, interviews from the paddock caught in the fun. The guys have is awesome. I look forward to each episode.
-
JRB199Beta EnergyLove Steve and Gordo and the others are great as well, but Dave is a narcissistic know-it-all. Too bad he isn’t smart enough to not be a Communist. Go crash your brand new bike in a roundabout again ya 🤡
-
Mike MesSay um one more timeTerrible show
-
One Tire WildfireMy personal favorite MotoGP and WSBK PodcastBeen listening for about 18 months, but after the Scott Reading interview couldn’t stop laughing and had to leave a review. Guys...keep it up, also do love the bit of SX/MX Adam brings in as well, and whenever Steve calls David a muppet. Thanks for helping us get through these pandemic times and the chatter about what’s going on in your parts of the world and how it compares here in the States.
-
2wheelcowboyDecent when David isn’t onIt’s a good show when Adam,Neil and Steve are on. David “um” Emmett is a communist and contradicts himself ever other sentence.
-
Unfixed MachineIn Mid-Season Form!Far beyond the in depth, top shelf analysis and coverage, these are flat out the biggest fans of the sport and it comes through every show, whether they're talking liveries or long-forming the biggest stories in bike racing, that energy comes through. And the fellas just get on and always seem to compliment one another. I am always greedy for the next episode.
-
Pauldo82Always insightfulThe boys provide consistently in depth analysis of race weekends in both MotoGP and WSBK. Their banter is always entertaining as well.
-
JrtrayloGreat Race Review!!Awesome to have an in depth breakdown of each Grand Prix. Covers a lot of topics and something I look forward to after each race!
-
Ed_cool02Great racing podcastOne of the things I look forward to at the beginning of the week.
-
Jdiaz55Excellent PodcastVery informative! I always look forward to hearing this podcast to get the insiders' view on the latest races.
-
StuFrasBest MotoGP podcast.Presented by real journalists
-
renowelsEpisode #149This is the best interview I think I’ve ever heard focused on data measurement and analysis. There is easily a years worth of long format pieces in all that information. I’ll be listening to this more than a couple of times.
-
JGLUNSInsightful!Fantastic and often funny perspectives from guys who know what they’re talking about and are right there. They share behind-scenes-info, personal experiences, and historical perspectives that greatly enrich my experience as a fan. i also appreciate the bit of cross-pollination with info about what’s happening in WBSK, similarities and differences. I could go on and on. Thanks very much!
-
tecknoldThumbs upGood insights and unique perspectives from this crew.
-
MotonutThe best motogp/wsbk racing podcastThis is a true Motogp/WSBK racing and technical super geeks gem. The hosts are as into as we are diving deep into all things in the paddocks, myself I can’t get enough as a motorcycle racing fiend for 45 years, I wish there were more shows each month. Keep up the absolutely excellent work gentlemen it’s freakin spot on!

Love learning about the sport. P.S. I’ve only heard it once but please no more coffee shop podcast. It’s to loud in the background. Haha keep up the good work fellas!
-
@mele4EdBackground Noise Episode 93The background noise where this episode was recorded was ridiculous. This podcast normally contains good content with great insight, 4/5 star ratings, but this one episode was annoying and impossible to listen to.
-
joeR6Best MOTOGP coverageThese guys are awesome- I never miss an episode. If you follow MOTOGP this is THE podcast to listen to.
-
0wen H5 starsTop notch motorcycle journalism. I learned a lot more about MotoGP than I ever could have just by watching the races, and they introduced me to the brilliance of Jonathan Rea. Huge fan, it’s a must listen for motorcycle enthusiasts!
-

Darrington1988Fantastic show. This show is great for the MotoGP fanatics. It gives you rider and team insight that you would find hard to get elsewhere. My favorite podcast to listen to by far.
-
Greg S in TNI Want to be CivilDavid’s writing is great and his Twitter is one of my favorite accounts. BUT! David’s uuuuuuhs and ummmmmmms are getting worse and it makes some episodes really hard to listen to. I’d really like for them to slow down and gather the thoughts before starting a new sentence. The content is great and I like the insight. Thanks for the podcast guys but please work on the filler words. Cheers.
-
wasntmy51This is the number 1 podcast for MotoGPMotomatters and experts I n voice coverage. Not a better podcast for MotoGP and WSBK.
-
velomikeInsightful! This is a great podcast especially if you are interested in the behind the scenes news of the MotoGP paddock and teams.
-
Dan2737485839Never betterGreat show and ultimate source for MotoGP gossip, and some facts. I look forward to each episode keep up the good work!
-
Trunk Junk👌Great show, I listen to every episode
-
BMcSoCalUnprofessional NitwitsIt’s a shame one poor excuse for a journalist can drag a generally good team down. Drop Emmett and all would be good. He has no journalistic integrity and “reports” from a vacuum. Makes most observations based on other media outlets real reporting efforts.
-
kerbegAlways look forward to each episodeI’ve been a MotoGP.com subscriber since 2011. I usually watch every race in all classes, most of the practices and a lot of the interviews online. David and crew always do a great job of recapping the races and contribute insider info you can’t get from MotoGP.com alone. I’m also a Motomatters subscriber and this podcast enhances that experience as well. Thanks for doing the podcast guys!
-
Loud V8 NoisesPaddock Piss CrapcastIf you want to a podcast about MotoGP from a bunch of uptight British journalists with no sense of humor, Kleenex thin skin, whose sole objective on social media is denigrating and insulting the paying fans of the sport who show up at the races and happen to boo riders they dislike... well, guess what, this is the podcast for you! Not only do the hosts lack any sense of humor and take themselves way too seriously. They do nothing more than serve as a megaphone for the teams, riders, series, and sponsors in the paddock. This causes them to often get backs fact & stories wrong as they have almost no journalistic integrity and refuse to criticize those who may grant them access & scoops. This podcast, thru the lens of MotoGP, perfectly summarizes the larger problem of the media landscape in 2018. Journalists whose livelihood is based on their access; refuse to stray too far into criticism of those who grant them said access for fear of losing it. Their bias is obvious and apparent at almost every juncture as it’s clear after 20min of listening to know where their loyalties lie... with the series and sponsors rather than the reader/listener. Enjoy!

Gunny-FVFDGreat Show On PointGreat show on MOTOGP. On point commentary.
-
Tony UtahExcellent podcast! One of my favorite podcasts, Paddock Pass is home to very knowledgeable hosts, and entertaining and insightful analysis. On one of the episodes the hosts were asking for suggestions on topics to cover, so I have one. I think it would be cool to interview some of the technicians, mechanics, etc. who work in the paddock for their perspective. What a typical flyaway race is like, rebuilding a crashed bike before Sunday, etc. Might be interesting. Just my 2 cents (pence?).
-
Monkee dogBest sporting reviewDavid Emmett is an incredible writer and PodCast host. His understanding of the sport of motorcycle racing, the technical characteristics of the machine and complicated nature of the athletes makes for some of the best journalism in any sporting news, word round. He and his guests bring the fans right into the paddock.
-
LsrxcExpert MotoGP commentaryThe shows offer great insight on the men, machinery, and the politics involved with major motorcycle racing. Aren't afraid to tell things like it is, which is refreshing and entertaining at the same time. My go to podcast for my favorite spectator sport.
-
infresigAbsolutely the best MotoGP coverage out there (including the website!)Like the title, best coverage and analysis of MotoGP available. Highly encourage visiting the website and checking out the articles there. Thanks to David Emmett and the Motomatters team.
