This has been an extremely valuable podcast for me. Lots of practical wisdom and much needed correction for many of my distorted ways of thinking. I love Fr. Michaels gentle and humble manner in sharing truths from the Orthodox Tradition. God grant him many years!

I always benefit from Fr. Michael's rare podcasts. I wish they were more frequent, but if they were they probably wouldn't be as wise. They always are a gift to me - confirming something I've sensed but couldn't enunciate, or pointing to a truth my mind and heart were too fogged up to perceive. I especially love his takes on St. Isaac the Syrian, one of my favorite saints. Not many people whom I've run across are as good as Fr. Michael is at explaining the hidden gems in St. Isaac's writings.

I am Coptic Orthodox and have been listening quietly for about 2 years now. I find that Father Michael Gillis can make deep spiritual truths very easy to consume for laymen like myself. His style is approachable and full of humility. This podcast has been a life saver many times when I drifted away from interest in spiritual things. Father Gillis has a way of striking the center of my heart and reawakening a desire for the things unseen. God bless your service Father, I would only ask humbly that you post as frequently as you used to! Folks like myself benefit greatly from your content!
