txglenExtremely Actionable and EnjoyableWhen I want to learn some thing, I don’t want to waste my time wading through a lot of irrelevant information. Ann is effective at cutting out the fluff and leaving us with exactly what we need to know. Bonus: she has THE best voice of any Podcaster I have ever listened to and I have listened to hundreds. I thoroughly enjoy her podcast and if you are interested in improving your writing, I believe you will, too.

Dgreen3686Bottom line podcastMy favorite thing about Ann’s podcasts is that they are about writing. I hate listening to congratulatory commentary between host and guest. I’m also not interested in hearing rambling promotions for the guest’s new book. If I like what the guest is saying, I’ll get the book without needing an endless preamble. I’ve listened to about four podcasts thus far and have yet to be bored or disappointed. I’ve also ordered one of the guest’s books. I’m getting great insight and learning a lot. Thank you. Alexstrath1A labor of loveAnn hits home with her beautifully told stories that empower you as a writer. I recently heard her episode on the shift that must take place when deciding to make your work your profession.

kamikiddGrammar stories to rememberIt is easy to remember grammar rules when you’re not eating your relatives: ‘‘Let’s eat Nana” versus ‘let’s eat, Nana!’

Dorina GilmoreAlways concise & helpful!I’m a long-time listener to this show. I love how Ann concisely brings us tips and tools for writing. She has such enthusiasm in the way she presents. I love listening and learning from her!

InfinitelyMoreFavorite writing podcastAnn love your show! So helpful and inspiring! Love the length. Short and sweet. Love the upbeat music and your voice! Thanks for who you are! Look forward to many more shows!!! It’s helping me keep writing in a difficult time. Sidenote: (Not a fan of the lower beat intro music since COVID. I come here for inspiration and that music is not consistent with who you are and what you do for the writing world).

JobRetrieverWise and very intelligentAnn is a leader— in a world where very few exist anymore. She’s one of those people that you hope to have in your neighborhood, and community. There’s a lot of writing podcasts—but this is one of the best.

My rewardWonderfully practicalI have a dream to someday write, and have enjoyed reading Ann's simple, practical, and informative newsletters and blogs. I have learned a lot about the process of writing in all its various forms, such as punctuation, grammar, editing, publishing, developing platforms on SM, etc. She is fun, funny, and well informed. Even if I didn't plan on writing, I would read her stuff anyway.

Leanne SowulConnects with writer's soulGenerally short but full of impact, this podcast helps me reconnect with my writer's soul and energy. Great advice for writers new and experienced. Unlike other podcasters, I actually enjoy Ann's voice- it's very lyrical.
